@chuhungsan2945 mine is great on gas. I put a few miles on it every sat afternoon running to the grocery store and back home. Lol seriously I wouldn't know for sure since mine sits in the driveway most of the time. My gf is always telling me I should just sell it.

Yo, those cars will last forever. My transmission went out 176,000 miles. I’m gonna get it fixed. I was gonna trade it in and I’m like NAH.

Wise move given how uninspiring and unreliable new cars are. PRO TIP: If you want your transmission to last a really long time ALWAYS use the parking brake when parking, especially on slopes. Most people never do this and it results in the entire weight of the car resting on the transmission. When you shift from P the gears will grind a little bit, over time it adds up until the tranny breaks. Of course timely fluid flushes is recommended. My 06 Base TL auto on the original transmission is still running strong about to hit 400,000 miles. My 07 TL-S manual is currently at 176,000 miles.

@@duyvuitton6019 Nice I got 06 too.. But yeah I sometimes do that parking trick but got lazy also I do flushes and changes with the 3rd and 4th pressure switch Recent I work a lot and the car seats park I think that what accelerated the damage …..
