Every time I look aT 450s for sale in my area. All the Honda trx450s are clean af. And all the yfzs are completely clapped. Cmon Yamaha boys. 🤣

Piston was fine, it was leaking from the crankcase because you had the whole quad upside down while doing the JB weld repair... The top breather tube being clogged wasn't helping anything, but the main cause was it being flipped upside down.

There’s a peice inside the case broke that is like a baffle to keep the oil from getting slung in the vent . I’ve seen it

i grown a hate for any 450. i had a triton 450 raod legal quad fuk i used it for like 150km and spend 600€ on it then i parked it and went back to my trx300ex same fun less expensive. later with a friend we bought a non running yfz450 with front and rear spacer pretty gooed tyres, exhaust, it had compression but jesus it was a piece of shit 1 year of struggle buying a new 2nd hand head 8hours drive to pick it up cause cam shaved off the head (but we got it running befor that it was running strong but very hard to start) then we toke it apart and saw the metal shaving and cam and thing eating the head.. anyway then we never got it started again till we did but it would bog hard. the reason my friend toke the hole carb apart like every screw he could get out.. and some parts are not ment to take out... so he basicly fucked the carb. and later fuked the power jet (again a part u cant buy so i had to custom order 80€ for 1 jet.) still not running good, start but only slowly accelation or it died.. so much hours spend we sold it for 100-200€ losse each .(bought ifor 1000€ spend like 400€ each on part and fuel to pick up parts) sold it for 1500€as it is.. started but couldnt accelarate, the rear wheels bearing were SHOT, engine head gasket leaked cause shitty gasket. it was leaking oil somewere also. it was a piece of shit but i did learn from it after taking the engine apart for 40 times it did have vortex piston hotrod crank shaft thing cylinder still had the brush marks on it. it was probably rebuild and never got it working i guess after. but god damn 450cc 2nd hand are a hand full once u need to fix it, cause old owner made a mess its not fun. it was loud and hte guy who bought it tested it in the parking lot it drove. skip couple month forward i look on facebook marketplace i see the fuking quad for sale with guess what 2 engines in parts LOL i guess he never got to fix it either lol

If a wheeler can’t go upside down it’s a shitty design either way both the lines bein clogged was caused by oil pressure,most likely disturbed by being upside down!!!
