She is a kick in the pants!!! I gravitate to those who encourage, inspire, motivate and teach. This is such a therapeutic art and I love every bit...except when my soap starts to turn into mashed potatoes and a few select words leave my lips and I have to get on my knees for Gods forgiveness lol. Hi- I just came across your channel. I am not a soap maker but I enjoy venues of makes other than my own.(I don't have a channel) I checked out your shop and was interested in the charcoal facial scrub but with my income could not justify the shipping. Not your fault as I run into this all the time trying to by bits and bobs for my makes that the ship almost matches if not over runs what I m purchasing....bummer. I’ve ordered from Katie before, love her soaps. I usually keep them for a year and then when I order a new set I start using the previous set. Being in Canada, it’s expensive but fun to order and own. Her soaps are like “artwork”. Thanks for sharing.

Although I can appreciate that it’s a bit of a waste :) sadly, can’t buy again because after shipping and exchange, I paid $90 for 5 bars of soap.

Thanks for all the cool videos. You have helped me through a very difficult year. I was very ill last year 7 mos. in hospital and now with the closures due to covid, it has been pretty boring. Just wanted to let you know I made my first batch of soap today using your small batch recipe. I had to substitute hemp for avocado so I hope it doesn't affect the outcome. Tomorrow - THE CUT!!! Royalty soaps and Ariana arsenault were the first soap makers I learnt from that inspired my soap making journey. Part of the reason for my soap making journey. But it’s also nice to see a smaller business like yours which encourages me to keep going. I’m slowly building up my business after I had to close it when I moved to another continent so I’ve had to start again. Doing it differently to before and still lots of changes coming but getting there slowly. Long way to go. I’m building it one scent at a time. So far only one scent in my range. Getting there slowly as my budget allows. And by the way my business Betty May cosmetics was named after my great aunt who lived to 101 years.

I love watching your videos!!! I have learned so much!!! I just made my second cold process soap today with the recipe you provided for the smaller mold. I should have stopped blending when it came to trace, however I blended too much and had to scoop the soap into the mold, lol!!! I have been reading and watching KZbin videos for a year and I started with melt an pour. I have also been making body butters, lotion, facial scrubs and made my own foaming bath butter from scratch( with out a base.) I am having so much fun!!! Thank yall for all of your informative videos!!!! I will continue to watch!! I also use hemp oil in the majority of my products!! ❤️
