Nick, I enjoy your channel so please understand I'm not trying to be too critical. 7 turtles in that patio pond is 5 turtles to many. Turtles are not social animals to begin with but the bioload from that many in that size container will overwhelm that filter. Also turtle enclosures need to cycle just like fish tanks. Also unless that enclosure gets a few hours of direct sunlight, they need a uvb bulb or the turtles will develop vitamin deficiencies. Goldfish are not good fish to keep with turtles. They contain thiaminese which is harmful for turtles long term. Platys, guppies, and swordtails are safe feeders. Like I said I'm not trying to be critical but as you are a well viewed you tuber it helps when you can show correctly how to keep these animals. You don't know how many turtles I have seen die or be deformed from improper care. I have been keeping reptiles for 25+ years so I try to give advice when I can. Hopefully you will address this because I want to see her be successful with her new pets. If you need any advice feel free to reach out

I like the end result Nick, but I wish you had done it all in reverse and setup the ponds filter & plants 1st give it time to settle before running out and buying turtles that are not what you thought they were (hope you researched that their needs are the same)... but come on, they are living things and deserve to be treated at least as well as your fish. I totally agree. Nick you should do your research first, then build your habitat and let it mature before adding live creatures. Did you even dechlorinate the water? Plus, there are far too many baby turtles in that habitat. One or two max! But definitely not 7!!!

It’s cool you can buy baby turtles in Florida. Pennsylvania passed a law they could only be bought for educational purposes . Most stores do not force the law, which means they get caught they will probably lose their ability to sell any animals.

Like the idea but yellow belly sliders aka yellow belly turtles get big and grow fast. That’s not going to be a permanent place your going to have to move them to a much bigger pond and to small of space to keep turtles and fish. Not trying to be mean but I want what best for the turtles so get a bigger pond
