Cletus, I’m a corporate pilot and my old mechanic had a Lincoln Mark VIII back in the early 2000’s with nitrous and a supercharger on it. He dominated the local dragstrip in Muncie, Indiana for five years with that car bracket racing. The thing was rowdy as could be. the funny part is he bought it for $4500 off his buddy who ran the local Dodge dealership and did all the work himself. I helped him change out some bigger injectors and we went from 3.73 rear to 4.10 I believe or maybe it was 3.55. It ran the same times with both gears but on the small end of the track the 4.10’s dominated… The best part was he had under $10,000 in the whole thing and he would murder guys with $75,000 cars every day of the week

A lot of the Marauders tick because the back of the heads get really hot. (Mainly driver side) There is a way to keep the back of the engine cool by running hoses into the freeze plug right behind the back of the intake and then run it through the heater core system. There is a company that actually makes a kit for it. I did it to my car and I can pound the shit out of it without it having any issues.

Love these stock Marauders. My personal opinion would be to put the square compressor on vs twin compressors. Might need to shore up that crank with a bracket. You don’t want to break that crank snout on that 4.6. Also get the Smallest accessory pulley you can on that compressor and a toothed belt, I think you’d have all the efficiency and ability to keep that back seat as cool as you need to

It does look like a Coyote 5.0 or a Voodoo 5.2 in that blurr shot cause the intake comes out the front, N/A and supercharged 4.6s usually have the intake coming out the back and side. If it's bone stock then it has the same motor the 99/01 Cobras come with which has higher compression pistons then what comes in the 03/04 cobras. The 4.6 is the same thing as a coyote except for the main caps, variable cam timing and stroke to rod ratio which is what gives you the extra .4 liters in a coyote not bore size. Plz tell me it's got a Voodoo and not a Coyote. If I was shelling out the bux for a brand new engine I'd prolly spring for a Voodoo before a Coyote.

I worked at Ford for a little over four years as a technician...had a brand new 03 mustang gt 5 speed...but when i first saw a mercury marauder i fell in love with it and thought it was so bad ass...4.6 DOHC non supercharged unlike the cobra that was at the time but still a badass luxury car:)...im Chevy all the way now but there are some Fords that i like and respect very much...i just like the simplicity of a push rod engine and not to have to deal with 4 cams verses one:)

You should move the turbos back and tilt them outwards on the dale truck, they are too close to the cab to get good air flow. Other that that it’s perfect!
