Before internet I got a box advertised as box ideal for car boot £5 . Such goodies I sold all individually added up £287 . Worse mistake sold what I thought was an ugly ashtray from a jumble sale paid 30p sold for £1 turned out was a venetian vase worth hundreds !! Just came across your channel. Decluttering hoping to move s after 28 years in this house . Unable to do carboots though. Probably risk local auction in boxes . Loved the footage 😊

Excellent haul this morning from Bowlee including mint Steve Madden boxed trainers for a fiver (£80 on eBay). Saw a pile of new Dr Martens at £40 and thought of you - £85 onon eBay. Didn’t buy as only had £70 cash on me for the day.

Interesting comment about cars while in the army. I bought ford escort estate and went to put petrol in and insertion point was brass and indication it was a German build. Later found out it was off an ex army guy.

I have seen people selling alcohol at Car Boot sales before. But I wouldn’t take the chance if I was you. I’m guessing you would need a license. I think your best bet would be to put them into an auction house, especially if they are valuable. Hope this helps.

Pps depends on what you call expensive, I've delved into vintage ports, whiskies and Champagnes, the Champagnes being the minging stuff 🤮🤮.

@@boratjohnson4701 maybe expensive was the wrong description, it's just 3 bottles of Moet, but £50 a bottle is ridiculous to me, especially when it tastes awful in my humble opinion 😊 I just wasn't sure about the rules regarding boot sales? So I thought I would ask on here, looks like I am stuck with it 😝

Good video. My local carboot but only been once since moving from in botlon town centre. I got confused where to park last time. Anyway you have any tips on taking pics. I sell on ebay n just use my phone n new listing takes days to for views. Any tips on background,techniques be good. The guy with the stereo had me laughing. He totalling looking at the wrong end of selling. Where would your margin be n the risk of it not working lol. I don't think alot of seller realise the resellers bringing customers back to carboots n putting eyes on the places so it's in there interest to give you a good deal. Keep up the good buys n work. Is it weird when you bump into other well followed youtube resellers n do you have a commaraderie?

Would love to hear how would you normally deal when you ask the price for an item and the selling ask you to make an offer? I missed out on a good deal which the seller did that and while I was thinking there’s another lady stepped in and asked for the same item, then the seller gave a price which was a bargain but the lady was holding it and I missed out on it🫤

I’d give em a low ball offer. And when the feign offence. I say ‘you must have an idea how much you’re expecting then’.
