Hi Mike and Nelly, I've been watching your vlog but I only recently subscribed. I do watch your vlogs regularly because I was part of the conceptualizers of BGC and I like to see snapshots of my work in your background! I'd also like to reach out to you because in a recent video, I heard you say you wanted to learn Filipino (not Tagalog). This just happens to be my field of expertise I have trained non English speakers to speak and write well in ten months and I'm currently translating and tutoring English speaking Americans to understand and speak like natives. My method is simple and effective, it involves a lot of movies and comic books. I'm Filipino but English was my first language and I had to learn Filipino the hard way. I'm now based in California but I was fortunate to live in over 30 of the 7,000 + islands there and to the extent that I'm familiarity with different cultures and languages would be pretty hard to match. I am also well aware of how different ideas are expressed in both languages -- usually, they aren't literal translations. I am currently writing several books, I have the time and I would absolutely be thrilled to teach you guys. We can do things online on your time. That resort is beautiful and strategic, next to the beach and right in the heart of the popular town of Luna (city?) With the new developments happening there such as the new bridges, road expansions, wonderful sights to explore as i have watched in your vlogs and that of 8Miles, Marve vlogs, Colz travels, etc. its rate/price may seem exorbitant for now but its market value will be considerably reasonable later on bec. of the progress of Siargao and its reputation to the world...

yep! it's over-kill as it not even build on at of a huge land. seem like they are auctioning it off the art works instead of the actual property value. 130,000,000 pesos is about 2.6 give and take US dollars. As a Filipino citizen you can do, build more of that almost anywhere in the Phil for a fraction.

Presently, one can find private medical clinic, dentist, veterinarian. There is no hospital yet in Siargao, but it has been announced that a hospital plan and construction is underway during the visit of the President of the Philippines, last week for the inauguration of the new Sports Stadium which includes a high school with dormitories for the regional athletes' training.
