This alone is why don’t buy books at shows like this, dealers having first dibs from other dealers, cherry picking good deals and then marking them up at their booths or their own PC’s leaving scraps for regular collectors. I know this happens all the time and again, I just buy online or LCS instead.

The dealers are there to sell… I don’t slight them for selling or the folks setting up to buy. Knowing this won’t stop me from digging through the boxes at shows. There is still lots of gold in them thar hills.

Holy cow Mike Carbobaro! Last I saw of him was back in the Comic Con Episode IV they did for the San Diego Comic Con I think for 2011. That guy has been doing this for years and probably has an impressive collection. Cool to see some legends still out there, might want to study his career that might be The Comic Den’s future.

That first iron fist was a great pick up. The prices are down now and I suspect once he comes out in the MCU that they will go back up again.

This reminds me of a comment someone left on a comic trips (rip) video… something along the lines of… my wife thinking I’m watching 🌽 saying ooo nice wow yeaaahhh… oh he is just watching a couple digging through boxes of comics I’d hate to draw that connection but I do like the couple duo collecting and talking comics. You guys did a good job grabbing what you did. A lot of those books I saw weren't worth it. Either too high a price or pretty bad condition. Problem with big shows, it's easy to be swept up in the moment. They want you to make a rash a decision.

Those Dead of Night and Crypt of Shadows etc. are reprints from some Marvel/Atlas golden age comics. Maybe you already knew that.

foolish, on the 5 for 40% off table, grab the $75 wonder woman for sara then 4 cheaper books, brings that book down to $45 then 4 $20 books down to $12 each.........hell of a deal, also you 2 desperately need a want list, you can just keep it on your phone, i do
