I used to sell Cutco at Costco. When I left, they had 9 products on the shelf. You can customize a block at Costco! They sell 2 sizes of blocks which in turn allows you to purchase the knives separately to get the knives you want to. 😀 Also, one of the blocks has a shears holster to attach to the block and the other block comes with a shears plug in the block instead of just the hole for the shears.

Go on line, read the Knife tests and reviews, you don't need to make an appointment with a sales Rep to purchase knives with entry level stamped stainless steel blades with handles that many reviewers don't like. And, yes my wife has a Cutco set that she had when we got married. I used Zwilling before that. Do your research, find out what style (chef"s or Santoku etc} and the quality of steel and handle quality you can afford. They are cheaper than you think.

Costco gives a purchaser only 90 days to return TV's and computers for full credit; nearly everything else can be returned forever (somehow). However, if a purchaser returns too many items in a relatively short time, Costco is able to rescind the purchaser's membership. Also, I believe that a Costco member who uses the Costco Visa Citi card can earn 2% to 4% cashback, depending upon type of membership.

You sound like a great Rep. I own many Cutco knives and accessories. My favorite has to be the Shears. Best I have ever used. As for the knives in general I think they are over priced and I probably wouldn't buy them again if I had the choice. Don't get me wrong I like them and use them daily but I just don't 100% love them. We got our starter set as a wedding gift which was (Kitchen Classics in Gift Box) so that is why we expanded on it. Great video though.

I live in Mexico now originally from Oregon and I would like to see a Cutco catalog. I would rather go through a representative instead of the website. I do have a US Post Office box. Would it be possible to get a catalog or your website. I really enjoyed your video it seemed very straightforward and honest. Thank you Vikki

@@myknifeguy No. There’s numerous and better ways to learn marketing skills other than selling knives to people. Take a business course at your local community college, do some research at your local library, hell even sell products other than Cutco, that you are passionate about

I just got accepted to be a salesperson for Cutco. It sounds like I finally caught a break from all the affiliate marketing I've tried and failed at and found a good sales position. They keep bragging about the training program, but I'm worried it won't be everything I need. I have the training next week. Is it as laid out and encouraging as they tell me? In particular, do they really help you find out how to find clientele? Or is it entirely based on luck in a heavily competitive field like affiliate marketing seems to be?

@@myknifeguyahahahaha If people want "American-made knife", they can go with Dexter-Russell, which is a household name in commercial kitchens. Plastic handles, sani-safe, dishwasher friendly at half Cutco's price. Don't tell me that a knife that commericial kitchens use often won't "survive" in home kitchens, LOL. Forget the knife blocks, too. Really, most people need 3 knives. Paring, chef, and serrated bread knives. Personally, since I keep my knives shaving sharp, I don't even need a serrated knife.
