Damaged boxes are so worth it. I went and got the assembly square recently and the employee mentioned a damaged box for the bonus points and I went for it. I ended up with so many points it helped fund the boutique hotel a few weeks later! Definitely will always do that especially with the larger purchases like modulars.

The only reason why I think people should do mint boxes if they are just one of those types that wanna buy something to turn around and sell it. But other than that, why not get a damaged box? If eveyrthing is there, it doesn't matter. Especially if your gonna rip it open and throw it away anyway. Your buying the stuff inside the box and not the box itself.

And I wouldn't even call these boxes "damaged"; just "slightly dented". Just found the picture of my 40409 (the GWP Hot Rod of summer 2020). THAT was a damaged box; it's height reduced by about 1/3 :)

Yes,lego stores do have damaged boxes.lots of em actually so if you're in it for the sets/bricks itself and are not interested in the box condition,just ask away.the store i work at has damaged boxes of colosseum,hydro bounty and friends apartment.

Hi Mr. Bricksie, 75810 Upside down is sold out in Europe since December. They did not delete it from the website, but for e.g. in Germany it is marked as "retired product" .. Hope they will do reissue when there will be the set "Mall" during 2022 ..

I normally don't go for damaged sets but I might see if my lego store has damaged copies of the sets on my wanted list mainly the bugle which except for the 1989 batwing it is the only one I want still. Right now I have $80 in vip points and I am trying to save it until my birthday at the end of the year my goal is get to atleast $100 and then get the bugle at a discount even if it is thevonly lego set I get for my birthday and Christmas this year since the past 2 years have been a bit insane for me.

Sounds like you're getting a lot of VIP points per purchase? In the US you get back 5% of the retail price of a set in VIP points, and 10% of what you spent back during double VIP points week. So on a $200 set, VIP points is only $10, or $20 during double points.
