Beautiful machine and great review. I am supposed to test drive one of these soon but I am hesitant to buy such an expensive and complicated vehicle used. German cars are not cheap to fix. Are there any recommendations are issues I should look for? I always bought new but like you said these vehicles are popular and there is an additional premium buying new.

We still have our 2011 X5 3.5i with 177k miles on it. Our 2012 X5 M50i needed a transmission at 51k miles and leaked oil from the turbo.
