I have been buying fractional gold for some time now. I started buying gold coins five years ago and because I live in the UK, I bought only sovereigns, half sovereigns, and fractional Britannias, because, as British legal tender, they are all VAT and Capital Gains free. Because I'm not rich, I could only buy a coin or two a month every month, but it's all added up. I have found that buying fractional was a better decision than saving and buying larger sizes, because gold prices have steadily gained monthly over the years and usually have out-stripped the fractional premiums I paid in the first place. Also, if you know where to look, you can often get fractional coins at very low premiums, even at no premium costs at all ( not so much now but definitely four or five years ago).

Fractional Gold! Yes! The common man's onramp to precious metals.

Fractional is all I buy and can afford but fortunately I am an essential worker and getting a lot of hours lately so I will be getting another 1/4 when I get paid putting my gold stack at nearly 2 oz since the Ronies started( would have more but bought a bunch of survival food, water, and gear first)and I splurged a lot on a 2008 1/10 AG Buffalo MS70 my only slabbed coin but I didn’t want to wait to get a full oz buffalo and it kinda fell into my lap so I traded some silver and cash for it and got a decent deal, love your content brother

Just picked up my first piece of gold tonight! A 1/10 ounce random from JM Bullion, cost $222 out the door. No idea what I'll get sent, saved $10 off of buying the Philaharmonic, guess I won't know if I made the right choice until I see what I get! Good video!

I have been saying this for WELL over a Year on your channel. I have plenty of Gold Silver etc but I have been buying Gold for a couple of years as a investment. Ie like this!!!! I was buying for under £90 per 1/10th now its £160-£170 I am happy to sell these at this time and will buy back more 1/10th gold when prices drop later. I can afford to wait.

Don't forget the rest of the commonwealth! Sovereigns were minted in Canada, South Africa, India, Australia etc

I think just buy & accumulate. It all adds up. If u wait u can not benefit from momentum. The only way to lose is to sell too early. Buy & hold.

Buy what you can afford, it's not great get smaller coins as for premiums but if that's all you can ,go for it all adds up in the end

I started with silver and then fractional gold and then traded some of those for an ounce of gold. First was 1 gram of gold and then 1/10th and now 1/4th and 1/2 ounces. I want to have mostly ounces but like the have 1/2, 1/4, 1/10 ounce pieces of gold too. Nothing less than and ounce for silver. Nice video. Thank you

Going to buy my first gold coin next week. Providing price doesn’t change too much in the next week, I’m gonna grab a 1/10 oz for 215 USD with premium. Probably stick with the 1/10, cuz I’m still growing my silver stack. Definitely want to start buying more gold though.

Fractional Gold is the big thing especially on Instagram but you need to be careful because you can end up paying a lot more for an ounce or more. I've been buying the Geiger grams in the assay, Pamp and Valcambi. But I'm done with them and now buying 1/4 oz gold coins.

HI WHO. I PAID $46.19 EA. INCLUDING OUTRAGEOUS PREMIUM, FOR A BUNCH OF MAPLEGRAMS. THEY ARE ALSO IN ASSAY CARDS. *:-)* *TYU*

Most these boy’s nowadays are sticking equivalent to half sovereign up their nose every weekend, I know where I’d rather be sticking my hard earned sterling. It still puzzles me though why a quarter oz gold Britannia is more expensive than a full sovereign?? Anyway all sovereigns all day long for me but as close to dealer rate (or better) as possible cause silver just seems way to expensive at the moment. Glad you did this video as confirms I’m thinking in the right direction but I still really want a Britannia though.
@stevenhale29354 жыл бұрын
For one; sovs are slightly under 1/4 ozt gold content. Secondly they're mostly second hand. Thirdly less security features and more fakes about
@vincewhitworth31684 жыл бұрын
So the Britannia’s have higher gold content than the Sovereign and there really more for coin collectors rather than strictly gold investors? Thanks
@auricgoldfinger82494 жыл бұрын
@@vincewhitworth3168 Sovereigns are 22ct britannias are 24ct. They are both equally attractive to both collectors and investors

Not easy buying anything at these prices. I cringe every time I look for something. Great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Just being very selective. Got my eyes on ( #10 the hound), ( 2nd great engravers) (USA V-Day gold and silver eagles) and then what’s ever in store for 2021. 👃🏻LFL

What’s the best way for someone to lower their dollar-cost-average on silver? Sell silver for cash, or trade silver for gold?
@thomasjr14344 жыл бұрын
Sell silver buy gold now . I'd say
