I enjoy being a dealer, but I’m seeing too many repackers at the shows lately. They’re ruining the hobby. I had one approach me at the last show I did. He pulled aside $1,150 in cards. Asked me what I would do, and I said let’s call it $1,100 even. He outright told me he’s a repacker, said that price would do him no good and said he “needed to be” at $900, $925 tops, to be worth it for him. I told him what you do with the cards after you buy from me is not something I can be a part of. He walked, said good luck selling cards and didn’t look too happy that he didn’t get the cards he wanted to flip. I ended up selling all of them by show’s end at near sticker. I still believe in shows, but the percentage thing is putting a damper on it.

It’s all repackers, Whatnot will ruin the hobby and card will plummet.
