⋆Today I am bringing back an older style of video - buying the Dartmoor Pony that other people didn't! Aka most hated, unpopular, least favourite - whatever floats your boat! Obviously liking a horse is all personal preference, and it's totally fine other people didn't buy or like this horse! I have actually seen a few of this coat around, it's all just for fun and an excuse to buy another horse haha!⋆

I agree that the reason the bay pangeré is the least liked is because of the fact that it looks so similar to the Gotland The only different being is the Gotland has a huge white star on the forehead I really wish they could’ve added something else to spice the color up? Such as for the bay they added a snip and a fetlock marking that goes into the hoof making that specific bay unique

I think they asked the community what coats they wanted and I guess this is where it fell. It is unfortunate to have similar coats in the game, but we don't often see this type of horse coat either. Can definitely see the frustration though!!

I feel like it’s unfair to make it so that a coat that comes on many breeds irl, should only be limited to one breed in game. I love mealy bay coats and wish we got more of them. Unfortunately the community throws a fit when they make coats colors.

I actually adore and have bought the Red Roan! As a Dartmoor owner myself, the Dartmoor ponies in SSO are very accurate!

I liked the gotlander coatcolor, but I already had one. So I bought this dortmoor. I didn't noticed it was the least favorite. 😅

that is probably a reason less people will buy it! If they already own the Gotland they might be less likely to spend the money on a similar horse coat

I actually live like 20 minutes away from Dartmoor so I see the ponies in real life all the time and some of them are so friendly

one thing i am shocked about with the dartmoor ponies is normally everyone loves the black horses that the game releases but on my server i have only seen 1 person with the black dartmoor but i really like the black one so when i finally have sc im gonna get the black one

just my opinion, but I think it's dumb that people didn't like that coat bc it looked too similar to the gotland with the same coat, it's not like the gotland is the only pony irl that comes in that colour 🙄 other ponies, light horses and draft horses can also come in pangare, like the exmoor pony, which I'm willing to bet will also come in pangare coats if/when SSO adds them, so will that mean no one will like the exmoor just bc it too has pangare coats like the gotland? 😑

yeah I think it's good that there is a choice of breeds! You might like the colour but prefer the Dartmoor and vice versa! Definitely nothing against those who don't buy it because they have the gotland though, everyone can spend their star coins on the horses they want that's why we have so many haha!

The reason i dont like this horse is because the lighter belly expands onto the legs and i do not think that looks realistic it looks like they just painted it flat on without rotating the horse, I havent looked at real horses with this coat im sure they can look this way but i just dont like it

It actually is a realistic coat color The color is called “Bay pangeré” the pangere being the lighter against the darker which is not a gene found in most breeds I hope that makes sense 😅

The pangarè Dartmoor it's a better version of a pangarè Gotland. The bay and the dapple bay are the least favourites Dartmoors for me. I don't like them.

I have a question why does the star stable community call pure white horses grey? they are not grey they are white get it through your heads sorry if that sounded rude but it is really weird ☹️ in fact the pure white one is the one i really want i would name her Snowflake

A white horse have pink skin, meanwhile a grey have grey/black skin ~ You can still call it white, most ain't gonna care, just grey is the correct term :D

there's a lot of different terminology in the horse genetics, thousands of similar looking horses which aren't technically the same colour because of genes trust me it's confusing 😅 I usually get a lot of comments whenever I incorrectly label a horse even when I try my hardest so I kinda give up sometimes 😂

@@JustAnotherPixel horse genetics are very confusing and so many colours are similar, but also not the same genetically, it hurts my brain with all the complicated stuff 🤣 I get very happy when sso call the greys grey instead of white though, just waiting for the day they'll do the same with perlino and cremello cause they sometimes put the wrong one 🤣

My least favourite dartmoor pony is by far the red roan, I don't know why but I just don't really like it. I'm also not a fan of the one you bought in this video but only because it looks so similar to the gotland pony you compared it to. This video was so cute tho!!!
