I’ve watched Brody for a long time now, and I just love being able to experience the same things at practically the same time. It’s gives a sense of realism to his videos. The work he puts into his videos are incredible! It took 6 months to post another video and you can tell that there was careful consideration in this video. Great story. I can relate to owning a Mustang (I owned 2 of them) and I can say the V8s are hard to handle in the winter but the V6 cars are far more easier, especially for the 1999-2004 model years.

I'm glad you have 2 parents who are mechanics and are cool with any kind of car! My dad specifically limited me to FWD or AWD cars as my first, and wait til I have more experience for RWD in the winter. I currently drive a 2014 Ford Focus SE Hatchback (which I absolutely love), someday though, I will be the proud owner of a Mustang. He's doing the same thing with a manual transmisson. But guess what? I have manual mode on a dual clutch automatic! So eat that dad!!!

It's a bit late to reply, but fun fact, the Ford focus "automatic" is actually a manual transmission, but it is shifted by a computer. This has lead to many destroyed Ford focuses because people think it can use automatic fluid

Hey you forgot one thing @BrodyAnimates which are: 1:Manual is More reliable than an automatic cuz it doesn't have a more complex gearbox unlime manual. 2:You can find Tutorials on upshifting a car and downshifting (even on cars with paddle shifters which are shifter paddles on the back of the steering wheel) and even double clutching which is quite useful for certain types of cars. 3: Manual Cars Tend to be more affordable than Automatics. 4:if you don't like Using a Clutch you can get just the shifter stick and no clutch (aka semi transmission on ur car) with the help of car modification.

Hearing my friends stories about getting their first car makes me both glad that my parents already had my first car, but also feeling left out on the "experience" My dad has a '98 Jeep Cherokee that he bought around 16 years ago, lifted it, put *33"* tires on it, bull bar, spare tire rack on the back, y'know, the whole shabang. During Covid, he bought a used Wrangler and my parents decided that the Cherokee would be "The High School Car" for me and my little brother. Now don't get me wrong, I love almost everything about that thing. The fuel economy sucks (as one would expect with a 4.0 straight 6 engine pushing 33 inch, 5 inch wide offroad tires) and the sound system isn't super bassy but all in all it's a great car that I know has been serviced and mantained well for most of its life. But I do sometimes wish I could have chosen a car by researching for months and eventually impulse choosing a used car myself
