Observing waterloo region area for 6 months, seller market is very bad if anyone bought less than 5 yrs , Buying is better but still prices are going down since job market is very bad.

Family house price will not go down as expected (as there is always demand). However, if I am not wrong; overall housing market price could come down, as interest will never go to 0% like COVID. Considering immigration cap, more purpose rental initiative from government. house price will come down and market will correct itself. Better to invest in Stocks and cap TFSA/RRSP etc, as stocks price will go up from now, since interest rate will going down from now (both US and Canada).

interesting, vancouver still seems like seller market, especially for single family house. given the province loosened up multi family home permits, the demand for single family house has gone up massively
