Buying Outfits Before You Have a Doll That Can Wear Them?

Reborn baby Adam (Joseph 3 Months Awake, artist One Sleeping Angel) changes into a 12 month size outfit I bought long before I had a doll who could fit it. Do you guys ever do this?

I bought a St Patrick's Day outfit before I ever had a doll. I eventually got a boy that fit it just in time. I consider St Patricks Day his birthday.

I do of course!! Ahah I purchased sleepers, small clothes ad some pacifiers before of receiving my baby :)! I buy'em 'cause I love collecting them and I love baby items. I got a 1 month girl who I named " Athena ", and in few weeks I'll gonna have Liam kit 12 months/1 year old doll! :)

Great topic. I do buy items in size NB that I see knowing I will have one in the future of a certain gender. I prefer to shop for a doll coming or a doll I already have. I like to give my dolls a personality and certain style through clothing and that varies between my dolls.

I do it constantly! Lol, exspecially toddlers. I have a few customs ordered that are not due to be home for a while, but when I'm out and about...sometimes I happen to see something that I can totally picture them wearing so I usually grab it

I am a new collector and I buy clothes before I adopt a doll. I agree, keep the torso on him. He is adorable.

Adam is a cutie. I am into the cuddle factor and would probably remove the torso, even though he looks real cute with it on.

I did buy clothes for my Joseph before hand. I went by what people had said that he can wear 6-9 months. Well I did not find that to be the case LOL 12 Mo. is much better. That is why when you got him I said "heads-up" lol. He is adorable!!!

I have old baby clothes that I keep so when I get my Joseph three months because she can where them but mine is awake and painted hair with no half torso

Sometimes I'm gifted bags of clothes from relatives that have bigger clothes, I just put them in a different spot in case I get a doll that big. Most of by extras are boys 0-3 or toddler size.

No I actually have never done that. I do buy clothes for reborns that I am expecting. Like now, I am expecting a dominic asleep and I have bought craft supplies to crochet items for him. I am making a blanket and I made 2 pair of booties, a paci clip and a diaper cover. I havent bought him any outfits yet. I am learning to crochet baby clothing but failing badly. So I will keep practicing and hopefully I can make my new baby boy and my other reborn babies some stuff. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Your Joseph is adorable

Hey, I bought a bunch of 0-3 months for my baby, before I got him and he wears newborn clothes. So.... either I will save for a future pumpkin or will give away. 🤔. He is big only because of his fat but he has a regular 3 month lenght..definitely not a 12 month baby :) mine( real baby) was just like him but thinner

I had a hard time staying awake in the stage production of Cats, so I'm going to skip the movie. Love your big boy! Only have newborns and preemies, so clothes buying is easy.
