I grew up on North side but grandparents lived in D10. Moved to USA for college and now call California home. First time visiting Burdocks was in my teens, the deep fat, lard vats used coal for fuel. Each visit now includes a pilgrimage to Burdock's about Christ Church area, but the heat given off by the old coal burning fryers, could melt the smile back to a frozen face in the dark cold winter night.

IS PLEASE READ! This video got me into Irish silver, and since I watched this video over a year and a half ago (when I first started stacking/collecting) I have wanted to go to a coin shop in Ireland. Well I’m in London with a ferry to Dublin tomorrow. And tomorrow or the day after I will be going to Lir coins. Often going to jewelers one can find coin selection. This has worked for me were there are no coin dealers. Or poor selection at coin dealers in foreign countries, not US. Last time was Ecuador, scored some gorgeous crown silvers at spot + tiny premium. Art original pieces and coins when traveling, NOT t-shirts and hang-overs.

@@InternationalStacker I had some of those old Irish pennies in my childhood coin collection. I really liked them compared to our tiny cent. I saw them in your video and when you asked if they were copper, I was thinking you should know that. You need to come somewhat prepared when you enter a coin shop, especially a foreign one. Otherwise, you'll get screwed
