Something that may help that my brother in law made me realize one day because I used to feel so bad about other people paying or buying things for me. He said if I didn’t have the money or didn’t want to buy it, I wouldn’t offer or ask. Just know it makes people feel good to do these things and if they’re offering it means they really want to do this for you.
