Many congrats on your new purchase. It def looks classy and modern..Can you share a 0-100km acceleration time for MG RX-8? It looks big n heavy and hence i want to know how quick is it under hard acceleration..

Thank you very much and I hope your subscribed 😊 The RX8 is my daily car and I can easily say that it’s not that heavy. 2.4 tons actually. The acceleration on auto mode is great and sports mode the car just flies. To time it, I would say 0-100 would take about 8 seconds.

RX8 is cheaper than a fortuner. Also the top specs of fortuner for interior will be very expensive and still not match what RX8 is providing.

Hey Vitilise, thanks for watching 🙏 For the engine, it does the job for the price it’s aiming for. For 104,000 you’ll be getting a 2.0 Turbo charged engine with 360 torque and low range gear. That’s good enough for most consumer level off roading. If a V8 engine is plugged in to these cars they will go up in price and compete with Land Cruisers which is not the idea of the vehicle. Overall, it looks brilliant, interior feels like a luxury German car and the engine is fuel economical + attacks off roading too (as a bonus it costs very very low from its competitors) :)

Sure, they could. But seeing their entire lineup they have not gone above a 2 Litre Turbocharged engine, I believe that’s their strategy.

VIRTILISE OR JERRY SAIC has a new engine now , it’s a 2.0 only but pushes out 480 NM it’s gonna be used in the indian MG gloster later this year
