From what SSO said there will be more body types added in the future but they needed to start with something more limited. They also said that after backlash after first beta they changed the skinniest to be more skinny and also over all tweaked how they look BUT we have yet to see what this "tweaking" exactly ment and also what that "in the future" is supposed to be. I have hope (because what else is left 🥲) because if characters are going to look like they did in beta testing thats going to be a big no no from like 80% of players i can't even imagine that

I'm LOVE that SSO is trying to be inclusive (adding a variety of skin tones and hair textures, at least claiming they're working on body types, etc) but the new characters from what I've seen are all toddlers. Every single 'variation' (which there wasn't more in the last beta test) was a pudgy baby-faced-child with (for god knows why) child-bearing hips. If they stuck to their lane and just made toddlers, I'd be pissed obviously but at least I couldn't complain about the hips. That being said, wth are those hips we saw last time? Those toddlers were ready to breed more toddlers, I hate it...I'm really hoping they come out with a whole customization UI that allows us to define body size, distinct facial features, skin tones (I'd also love some Sim-level greens, blues, etc but I'm not gonna complain haha) bc if I, a 23-year-old IRL equestrian, have to look like a toddler who's ready to pop out a baby for the rest of my time with SSO, the time will be very short...

our characters have such a baby face look + it doesnt help at all how there isnt really a define chest area and the way they put the clothing on the characters...like the crop top? it makes us look like children wearing clothes thats too small

I had a whole rant about the chest / breast issue in this video that i had to cut out because i didn’t know how to word it correctly. im happy to see someone else notice it as well!

I personally do not like how their body deforms because just the way it is and the structure is quite good but the waist to chest is annoying me a lot I mean the crop tops do look kind of slim

I also agree about the characters there’s not really a body type that matches me- and idk I personally am a very I guess skinny person and idk why but I didn’t really see any that matched mine and I don’t rly think that anyone does.

I love the new horses but I have like 300sc on my main 😭I haven’t bought star coins in so long, but I think I’ll buy sims for the next double weekend. Also, about the new characters. I like how they are trying to be inclusive with the body types, but they are so inclusive the only body types are curvier ones. I’m a really skinny person and I hope they add skinny body types.

i feel like theres heavier body types and i love that because games dont usually do that but they also dont have more like curvy or skinny bodytypes or even underweight ones, its not healthy but people do struggle with being underweight and i feel like there should be a body type to represent everyone

The problem with the characters is that they claim to make it inclusive but its really only inclusive to a specific selection of people. Leaving most people not in that selection. They aren't making different types of bodies they are making different sizes of those body types. Size and type is not the same thing. Hopefully they listen and branch out more (and not make us look like large toddlers)!

The updated characters HAVE NO BREASTS AND HAVE BABY FACES I'm honestly so sad like my character is amazing the new ones are babies like body types are good but that's about it I just hate them and I will cry and quit sso for atleast a week if they give us those characters we kinda have a bit of a curve on our current characters not alot but abit and there is such thing as skinny with hips :')
