Hey Chris mad respect for you and I am a big fan but clown fish have a protective coat that keeps them from being stung by Annemie's and by touching them with your hands rubs off their coat.

I feel like 50 would be overkill and a bit overcrowded. And if you're getting more, then maybe you should get at least one or 2 more anenomi. Would also love to see more prices on the fish. As somone who would like to get some salt water fish in the future, it would be really nice to hear the different prices~

Be cautious with blocking your breaker panels with the tanks. This could be pretty bad if there is ever an emergency.

To be honest you will more then likely only end up with 2 clown fish. They don't do good as groups. When they reach maturity and one pair groups up they will become very aggressive towards each other and usually kill each other off

Yes, very true. Clowns are also very defensive of their anemones. So, they will constantly be fighting over the anemones.

@trout_master9342 well this is true. But, it takes planning and a setup designed for it. This is NOT the setup. I had a clown only tank with 8 black/white and 8 orange/white. It was ok at first. As time went on, it was turf wars. The black/whites grew faster and basically attacked the oranges anytime they ventured out of the rocks. My recommendation would be return all but your white one since it’s your favorite and get one more that is significantly smaller than the white one. The black one you got is too close in size to the white one. They will fight to determine which is the female (larger is female). If you get one significantly smaller, they won’t need to battle it out. A smaller black one would be cool. One black and one white.

That just elevated your pond to another level,they're beautiful, now when you have a Colony of Clownfish the largest one will become the Dominant Female and if they lose the largest female then the next biggest male will convert to female. Very cool how nature ensures their survival. You picked some real nice fish Chris. I think 10 more would be good for that Nem,so start looking for another massive Nem a purple one gets huge if your gonna get more than 10 more. Great video you know the biological load is getting larger ,so water change about 1/2 the water and if you clean the filter make sure it's with water your removing from the pond. Never the hose it kills all your important biological bacteria. ✌🐟🐟💜

They’re not going to group with anemones in there, they’re gunna kill each other until their is one maybe 2 dominant pairs. Clowns become insanely protective over anemones and usually they only host one pair

You should turn the in ground pond into a planted mangrove swamp pond. My salt water aquarium is a planted mangrove one full of tiny puffers and little fish and it looks amazing! Its outside on my deck like a big window.

Flounders and other flatfish tend to get large and are predatory, so they would be better suited for the shark pond, rather than the outdoor pond.
