Buying Vintage at The National Sports Card Show 2024 - Final Recap!

Day 3 (Friday) is my last recap of my experience at The National Sports Card Show of 2024. This video will show my reveals of my pickups as well as all the footage of the show.
I had a great time meeting new people as well as reconnecting with a lot of the content creators. The National Sports Card Show is partly about finding some great cards, but also about hanging out and showing those great cards with your fellow collectors. Also, a lot of great stories and adventures.
I was thankful to have spent the duration of this trip with Jake of ‪@LegendsNeverDieCollection‬ Drew of ‪@thedrewavintagelegacy6455‬ and Dom of ‪@stavensportscards‬. Lot of laughs and good times shared!
I am looking forward to next year as well! I will be sharing some of the gifts I received from many of you next week.

Hi Sammy. Excellent footage of the show as always my friend. You knocked it out of the park with those pickups, the 1913-15 Pinkerton Matty was my favourite of all your pickups.

Sammy, this is a crazy story that you're going to like. I wasn't able to go to the National this year, but have watched as much content as possible the past week. There was a card that caught my eye on a table in one of the videos. It's #1 on my want list. I emailed the dealer yesterday and he said it did end up selling. Now, I'm watching this video and it's getting to your pickups and you were the buyer!! The T206 Portrait Mathewson was the one I saw and emailed William Chappell about. If you ever decide to sell, you have a buyer here in me. Otherwise, I'll be looking for it next year in Chicago. Great pickups!

Man, I was relentless in finding that damn card. I can't believe that the biggest show of the year, not one can be found. There are 26 Total Graded with PSA. I mean, it's wild that I can find a Mathewson with a POP total of 3 graded with PSA, but not a Seaver?!?! I'm regaining control here! lol In all seriousness man, glad to have met you and hung out. I'm stoked about your Clemente pickup. I loved the surface and centering on it.

Thank you Peter. Seaver is one of two guys with 300 Wins, 3000 K's and a career ERA of less than 3.00. He shares that with Walter Johnson. That's a hell of a statistic! I tried to capture as much variety as possible. I received feedback from someone asking for more variety. I always try to keep that in mind.

I actually believe that that table had stuff for sale, not auction. I wish I could remember the name, but I believe some other KZbinrs were able to record that table and may have gotten the name of the dealer. I can ask around.
