I appreciate it!! Honestly I'm the only one I know doing a POV style from a collector aspect really. Most stuff I see is vendors buying/flipping. I keep every card I buy. Once I finish up eseries and LC I'll be 100% done with the WOTC era for my personal collection. Then the fun starts moving into the ex era!

Hey brother, Masterball vendor here! There was some miscommunication with myself and the associate you were dealing with. The Masterballs we just bought weren’t actually for sale as they were intended to be graded, which he didn’t know because I did the buy. Sorry for the negative experience and I’d be more than happy to help with completing your set with anything we decide to not grade.

Playing devils advocate your associate walked over to you 3 times during this transaction and not once was I told they were not for sale. I get these shows are crazy and everyone is juggling multiple deals at once but it seemed the intent here was to sell them at assumed graded prices to me. He said whatever doesn't sell by end of con will be graded. I didn't include this clip to attack you as I didn't know your booth name but to bring awareness for in experienced buyers at cons. I'm sure there would have been someone none the wiser who would have agreed to your figures if they wanted one not knowing any better. I ended up buying most of these anyways from other vendors for $10 each. Got the Flareon for $20 and the Gastly for $20 as well. Hope all parties and viewers just take it as a learning experience as that is what it is.

I mean if he bought the MB set to specifically grade and you REALLY want them, then yea I'd say a little less than graded price is fair. People need to remember that you don't always have to agree with the price lol. If you know that your not gonna buy at that price then too easy to say no and walk away.

Agreed which is what I did. However I wasn't told they weren't for sale. My gf was offered the cards to look through and texted me to come over to that booth to buy some cards. That's why the stack already existed when I walked up of what I needed. I asked for numbers and the associate said we hadn't gotten that far yet. That's when the back and forth started and when they were firm on graded pricing I walked. Just a weird scenario that shouldn't have happened I guess. With her standing there sorting them out and then me coming over and cutting out the waiting for answer parts in the video it was over 20-25 mins at that booth. That's why I feel it was a major waste of time for something that should have been nipped in the bud early on. Live and learn on all sides I guess. But solid point for all viewers no one should accept a deal if they aren't comfortable with the offer. I hope these videos spread as much awareness for shows as much as entertainment too.
