I love these long chatty buys/byes videos. I also watch Anne’s videos. You had done great empties & super awesome purchases at fantastic prices. I managed to ONLY but what I need during the Sephora sale. At 30% off the brand I can’t pass that up. I love their eye makeup remover so I bought 3 to get through until next year. I was wondering, your budget spreadsheet, I didn’t see on your inventory spreadsheet. I really like how you have everything organized by category showing what you bought for that month. OMG!! 😂 your Malcolm is hilarious. He already knows what to do to get chicken nuggets or a pound of meat. They are very smart. I’m so glad he’s still here too! ❤

I will go over my inventory sheets and update everything on the google drive for when I post my rest video. That's good that you were able to stick to your list of things you needed during the sale. I swear Mal knows what he is doing. We did bring him some nuggets today and he also got a home made pup cup because now I have to keep cans of whipped cream on hand. 😂

Definitely assigned cars! We have car seats in both cars for the kids. I can't imagine sharing! Where do you keep your car wardrobe? (Spare jacket, umbrella, hat, lipbalm)? You have to remember to pack them with you every day? No thanks. Haha. I did a budget this year but lumped in clothes and makeup and skincare as they're all problem areas and when I try to decrease 1 area I incidentally increase the other. 2025 I should be able to separate it out now that I've collected 2024s data.

Car wardrobe. LOL. We keep umbrellas in each car. I have two rain jackets, one in each daily driver car. I'm always cold, so I wear my jackets out of the house, but my hubby keeps a jacket in the cars that I can use also. Chapstick in my pocket and lipgloss in my purse. It's not hot here to leave that kind of stuff fin the cars without it leaking everywhere. LOL I love that you collected data through 2024. I think that is a huge advantage to setting realistic goals for 2025. We have to know where and how we are spending money so that we can make adjustments where it's needed.

We have assigned cars, because I don’t like readjusting my seat, mirrors, radio stations, etc. every time I get in the car. You have inspired me to start tracking my eye shadow palette usage and setting a palette budget for next year. I’m pretty good about controlling other categories, but eye shadow is my weakness! Love your content!

Same especially with adults kids who are men are not clean. I need my car clean and I take really good care of my car so I make sure nobody gets in it who is dirty or heavy feet 😂😂

I can see that! The only thing we leave in the cars is like rain coats, otherwise we take our work bags in and out every time we use them. I think sometimes I want to drive the car that doesn't have mounds of dog hair in it. LOL

Since I'm 5'1 I move the seats all the way up and the steering wheel all the way down. Hubby is 5'8 so it's not too much to adjust. The sports car has the programable seats/steering wheel settings so we each have one and I wish all the cars had that! I'm glad you are getting some inspiration from my videos! Tracking has really helped make me more mindful about bringing in new items to my collection. ❤️

We do have assigned cars. The sedan and SUV are mine. The car was my dad's and I received that from my stepmom after he passed. The SUV, I purchased myself. The truck is Anthony's. It was his grandpa's, and hauls the boat. And the classic mustang is Anthony's. He had that when we met. Having said all that, Anthony drives the car, because it's the most fuel efficient, if I am home. And also, he will drive the SUV when I'm not home because the truck is a gas guzzler 😂 I will definitely be checking out the Element toner. What a great deal!!! I purchased all of my replacement skin care that I had run out of during my unemployment 😆😆 and then some other things that I wanted to try. And then purchased some things that I've been wanting to try that were on sale at Sephora and Ulta. The green ELF setting spray is a Holy Grail. I hope you like it. I CANNOT wait to get my ER palette!!!! OMG! Magical!!

When my hubby goes out of town, I make him take the truck just in case I need to get a dog to the vet. No way I'm getting Jayne's 130lb butt up into a truck. 😅 I told him, if I have to, I will put a dog in the "no dogs" sports car. LOL I am looking forward to finding more affordable skin care in 2025. I think K beauty will be the way to go. I've been so impressed so far! I can NOT wait to put the new ER palette on my eyes!!!!

That new palette reminds me of the b.h. cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland palette.... very similar color story ... beautiful 🤩

I had that palette years ago and passed it on to a friend, but I still love that color story!! good eye! I'll have to pull up a picture and compare. I will say though, BH doesn't come close to the ER special shades. 😍

I've not heard of assigned cars lol! We only have 1 car right now. Since I work from home, we find it work with 1 (most of the time!). I also love that eczema cream too! I don't know if I have actual eczema or just super dry skin on my hands. It gets itchy and hurting at the same time. But that lotion helps a lot!

My husband has talked about selling the sports car, but I won't let him. My pet anxiety tells me I have to have a way to transport my dogs at all time. 😨 My eczema shows up at hard bumps under my skin that look like white heads, but there's like 20-30 of them clustered together. With the medicated cream, they come to the surface, turning to black dots then they heal all the way. But they do itch. I'm thankful that it's only on my hands.

My husband and I both work from home so we don’t have assigned cars. My oldest mostly drives our old Escape when she is practicing with her Dad, though!! I’ve been going back and forth how I want to handle next year and I think a structured budget is what I really need. A no buy is awful and unrealistic for me, a beauty bank was too much for me to keep up with but a budget per pay check seems reasonable. I was thinking bout also setting aside a portion of my bonus for my budget so I don’t go ham and make a bunch of huge orders. 🙃 Love your long chatty videos! ❤

Us both working from home has changed up our car game as well. When I worked in the office, I would take the fuel efficient car 90% of the time because that was when gas was getting up to $4 a gallon. 😱 The beauty bank never made sense to me, but its cause money mattered more than the number of products. Since I use a credit union, you have to have a saving as your membership account, and that is what I use to put my beauty budget into. I know so many banks now let you open additional accounts for different savings goals. And I set up my transfers for the year, having the $75 moved the day after my payday so I don't even have to think about it. ❤️ You will have to tell me how you end up setting up your goals/budget!

FYI: the elf stay all day setting spray with the ball… the sprayer SUCKS and i think that’s because even when you shake it up, something in the spray builds up and stops working. Mine stopped spraying all together after a 1/3 of the way finished with it. I had to transfer it into a different bottle

I felt that way about eye creams for a long time until I found the Perricone MD glutathione one! I’ve seen a noticeable difference in the fine lines and hydration over the past few months I’ve been using it. I got both of the ones I’ve used in my Fab Fit Fun boxes.

Hi Erin! I am wondering if the Ole Henriksen eye cream that you mentioned is the Banana Bright+ Eye Creme? I got to know that around a year ago they changed the formula (now with the plus in the name). I've read so many posts and reviews from people who got bad allergy reaction from it after I got it myself a month ago. 😔 I was using it for about one and a half weeks and didn't know why my skin under the eyes was hurting more and more (with no visible signs), but it was this cream for sure - that was the only thing I changed in my routine at that time. The discomfort disappeared when I stoped using it. Just wanted to let you know about it. Hope that It won't happen to you! ❤ I read that this cream was highly praised before the formula change, but unfortunately I was too late to the game.

I bought the first shade of the urban decay face bond yes it was way to light but then I bought number 4 fair cool and it’s not to dark at all in fact it’s to light for my skin tone and I’m fair to light cool

Oh goodness. I really wish the testers had not been all dried up at Ulta. If it's too light in the summer, I'm totally ok with adding a little of my halo glow in tan to get it to match. I'm just really hopeful for the formula. I might have to give it a try this week.

I find the foundation almost has a white base to it but with concealer and powder and bronzer I look just fine

none of the holo taco base coats work fo rme either, peel right off! I highly recommend the blue one from mooncat, it also helped prevent stains for me

Oh! Thank you for the recommendation! I did get the peely base coat from HT and my polish came off in like 5 minutes. LOL. I've wanted to look at some mooncat polishes as well!

LOL. We like to live on the wild side. It's always fun when my husband doesn't have keys to anything ever because he knows I keep all the keys with me. LOL.
