Buzz & his family lived next door to us at Edwards AFB, two years after the Moon Landing!! And my Dad was so thrilled to become friends with Buzz!! My Dad, Bob Best, sadly, died two years later, from a brain tumor. Dad had been Buzz's biggest fan!!... I had never seen him as excited as he was, watching that Moon Landing in July of 1969!!... And then, two years later, he was so thrilled and so honored to meet Buzz and strike up a friendship with him!!... ☺️ It was the biggest thrill of his life!!... He talked about what a wonderful man Buzz was and that he had such a great sense of humor!!... Buzz is so funny, telling hilarious stories!! ☺️ I can still remember hearing the sound of their laughter!! 🤗 Thank you, Col. Aldrin, for giving my Dad the wonderful gift of your friendship!! I must say I was disappointed in Buzz after watching him throw a right hand punch in his face, because he never followed up with a left hook. One side of the moon always faces earth making it impossible for the earth to rise.over the horizon the way they claimed. What a stupid mistake. Also there were pictures of earth supposedly from the moon that revealed a cut and paste square around earth when you turned the brightness down in editing software. These have since been a scrubbed from the intent and replaced with more modern cig fakes. Then there is the leaked video of them faking the shot of earth from low.earth orbit by filming a viewing portal from the back of a car room and using sugar paper to make it look convincing. It was such an obvious fake that anyone who tries to defend it is either monumentally stupid or on the payroll or both.
