the amount of people i saw complaining abt this guy on amazon was ridiculous. there were these parents that were upset bc they gave it to their kids to play with and it broke🤣🤣

😆 definitely not for playing, even i had a little bit of issue just trying to pose them. Not recommended for youngsters

A Big mistake I see people make with this model kit is them not fully putting in the elbow because see how the elbow on yours is a little farther out maybe take the bicep apart and realign it so that way the arm attaches better

By the way, that little tab on the clear helmet piece is in the 1995 Toy Story film, watch the beginning scene where you see buzz and woody talking on Andy’s bed..

you are correct! the first 15 mins of the movie he has that little tab on his dome helmet! good eye!

Its actually in every film! You have to look close at Buzz in em. You can see em though. Ts3 & 4 are harder to see though. You can see it when Buzz is on the Carnival wall barely and A few scenes barely in ts3. Its more noticeable in Ts2 out of all of em

Excellent kit. Maybe, don’t manhandled it so it doesn’t come apart. Two 4 year olds pulled mine from my cabinet when I was at work, and they came nowhere close to breaking mine. Nothing comes off easily unless it’s not put together properly or it’s being posed wrong.

definitely not for kids, pieces will be missing. Depending on the product sometimes even quality control misses a few, or just one of those bad batches, some will come off easy. This one in particular i have to be more gentle compared to others figs i have. Have a good one!

Put glue on the upper arm joint then put a piece of a napkin and that should make the joint tighter I do that with my action figures when they’re going to lose

@ i did its a great deal except my wings dont work right they do pop out but the other ones on both wings that pop out on the side dont come out

yeah, mine does that too , loosen it up a little bit , thats what i did with mines and the wings pop out now, i mustve pushed the jet pack too hard

Hi, I bought Mattel Andys room set of 7 Toy Story figures. I just thought they would be a bit smaller and in better scale with the Revoltech Woody and Buzz (6inch). When I put Revoltech woody and buzz to Mattel, they are very small to Rex, Hamm and Slinky. Which Woody and Buzz would you recommend in a scale of around 7-9 inches for the Mattel set of 7 figures? So that it fits Rex, Slinky and other toys in terms of size and scale. Thank you very much :)

Which do you prefer? This Bandai model kit or the Beast Kingdom Buzz Lightyear?

I would lean more towards beast kingdom because it’s more sturdy, easier to handle and pose, the cinema rise the parts keeps coming off, some joints are loose, and its also smaller, it looks nice but i would prefer beast kingdom

I would also say beast kingdom over the model kit as well. I have both the beast kingdom and model kit versions of buzz my only wish was that the beast kingdoms faces were as good as the model kit tbh

They didn’t add the handle thing on the helmet because if you look closely at buzz in the first toy story movie you can see the handle

awww im sorry for that, yeah this action figure is a little bit on the delicate side , the arms on our buzz easily falls off, its a little tricky to pose him. Your buzz lightyear has battle damage hehe its, battle tested!!

A few things look like it would benefit from some super glue, if I get these kits I’m gonna probably glue the eyes facing forward because I don’t like how easy it is to get him cross eyed.

I was thinking of glue as well with the loose joints and stuff, but i like keeping my action figure the way it is, just like how how other collectors custom paint there figs, i like to keep it original,, it’s just quite annoying it falls off

try adjusting the jet pack , sometimes when you assembled it and squeeze a little hard it jams the wings, also check the springs, basically take it apart and put it together with less force

i think its assembled to tight thats why its only moving a little bit try taking it apart then when you assemble it dont put it together to tight , also try to put a gap just to check if that is the main cause of the problem

Do you ever get any plastic burs on parts when you cut them off? I’m looking at buying this kit but I’m worried about burs or cut marks on the pieces when I cut them off.

good question! yes you get the imperfections flashes burrs etc, you can try to smooth it out with like a nail file.

The paint chips and malfunctions on BOTH of my BANDAI spirits Soul of Chogokin Buzz Lightyear diecast metal action figures is a punishment from BANDAI, both for spending that amount of money on the figures in the first place but also for not getting this figure instead I will get this figure, I have always wanted this figure but because he’s diecast metal, Chogokin is undeniably higher quality, I was going to say better quality, this is true but it’s quite a nasty, unnecessary thing to say However that doesn’t take away the fact that I believe that Chogokin may say diecast metal action figure but it’s very delicate and more like an articulated statue

whoa ive been looking for a diecast buzz lightyear, its so hard to find probably because plastic is cheaper to make, i wouldnt mind paying a little bit more for diecast, its just unfortunate you had issues with yours, how much did you pay for yours? i wonder if they updated it and made it better.
