@@PlatinumPC Yes, I solved it. Opened up mouse, saw the collection of dirt. Cleaned it out with toothpick. Tempted to use vacuum cleaner, but do NOT do this as it may suck out a key component. Did NOT have to put in thin piece of paper. Closed everything carefully. Presto, all worked fine.
