More modern places and Cities don't have any motivation to socialize with someone other than financial gain and people are being brought up from a young age to be that way and to go around their life minding their own business which is again revolving around earning money or spending it. People are becoming more and more secluded. Just look at the situation of japan. People are lonely and millions of people die alone in a room with no one around all the while healthy and young people working an insane amount of hours in offices. no one has time for each other.
