The "wave" is actually based on the era.Consider it like a "trend", similar to how we call the 60s-70s fasion "Retro". Just like that, the coffee shops that follow the latest principles(i think introduced in 2000s) are termed as third wave. The first wave began sometime early in the 1900s, idk the exact year, i m bad with it, but that was when Coffee really hit the market and became popular. At that time coffee was a massproduced and low quality drink. Second wave began sometimes in late 1900s, and by this time coffee had become quite popular, and "legit cafe" culture had started booming. This is where, drinks like latte and capuccino became really popular(basically extract coffee as espresso, and then make drinks out of it) Third wave began sometime in 2000s and this is where it became "premium and luxury", the establishments under this banner serve highhhh quality coffee, usually sourced from exclusive farms, and prepare coffee using variety of methods(both for roasting and extracting coffee) that change the flavour profile. This is where "experience" of drinking coffee came into existence. Now how do i know this? I researched, because just like some of you, iwas also curious about the origin of Third Wave Coffee's name. If i have to guess you can sum up as 1- You bring a 2 rupees nescafe instant coffee packet, come home, add it to water or milk and consume it. No experience, no high quality ingredients, you just..fcking had it. Thats First Wave. 2- You bring a proper filter coffe, that is specially mixed with Chicory in a controlled ratio. You get a coffee filter, make a decoction, add milk to it and enjoy. This is second wave. 3- You are bougee af. You only get beans from that one farm in Colombia. You manually grind it. You have a expensive coffee machine, you get the decoction, you make milk foam. You make latte art. This is third wave. Third Wave Coffee's whole MSP was to bring high quality good coffee to a the common mass at somewhat reasonable prices(like its still cheaper than a lot of high end cafes and even starbucks(ew btw)).

if you are not having the SIRACHA chicken and the Almond croissant from Third wave you guys are missing out! Their garlic bread and chicken toasties are amazing as well!!!! Also their Iced matcha wih a pump of vanilla in oat milk is great too!

When i first went to third wave, i straight up went for hot sea salt mocha, because it sounded interesting. It blew my mind, by how good it was. It was very very confusing. Though i feel a one big cup of hot sea salt mocha was probably a little too much in one sitting and it kind of made me feel weird by the time i was done with it. But yes, it is an amazing option to try. My go to is always Ice latte or cold brew with no sweeteners. And i pair it with either butter croissant or mushroom&cheese croissant. On days that i am in the mood for something sweet, i go for their raspberry lemon teacake.

Zubiya, I don't understand 🥲. Thought this is buzzfeed, india. This is just my review. Meme content , I am be able to at least connect it ,because we all use insta but I don't understand what she is saying in most of the video either we are skipping the part or we don't need to invest our time on it. I am not saying , hey you should use English so we all could understand. I am telling could you please use English because unfortunately thats the language most of the indians know and the channel name is buzzfeed india😢. Others also use like vishal. If you are creating a video for a specific region that's OK for eg. If you are making a video for onam , yes u can use Malayalam . But using it in a common video, not a good idea. The more you use a specific language (any specific language)the more viewers you are gonna lose. Think who watches these kind of content more and who will watch tiktok kind of content
