Whilst they sing predominantly in Chinese, they have songs in Korean, are in a Korean entertainment company and were formed as Kpop trainees in a kpop system, live, perform and typically promote in Korea, speak Korean, are each Kpop idols. They are both kpop and cpop. Ten calls them global for this reason, but they’re still part of the kpop discourse.

Bond like theirs can't be faked. They are emotionally and mentally in sync already. Most groups who train a lot to be in sync in performance naturally develop a special bond and WayV is pretty much the same, just that they are wittier and funnier and the members are around the same wavelength.

I really think WayV should be global grup.. Its not like cpop is not good for them, but since they're under Korean Company, its hard for them to promote more in China.. They should go as global grup and realese english album and i believe they would be bigger than they're rn.. Not to mention almost all members are bilingual..

The company is spread across many countries and has many subsidiary companies and Yangyang has an older sister he's the only son. It's possible that Yangyang is the heir of ADLINK, so he didn't answer because he didn't want to show off. He chose to become an Idol because he dreamed of being on stage when he was in a coma.

6:03 Ten tapping Kun to signal that no actually Yangyang cried more times in front of them, they're so Parents if that even makes sense hfjdjd also Kun saying that he always sits next to Ten during flights that's like the biggest biggest TMI for me 😭 I'd put Kun in Revenclaw - he's very skilled and always sees to it that he learns new things. Hendery, for me, is a Hufflepuff, he's just out there helping his members in his own, quiet ways. Yangyang a Slytherin along with Xiaojun and Ten. TenYang are the mischievous duo, they make their own way to get what they want. Xiaojun loves the spotlight and flourishes in it. Winwin isn't here but I'd say he's also a Ravenclaw with his artistic skills in dance and acting. He's very creative.

I absolutely died when Hendery said: "The magic of alcohol" XD I still can't believe that I was finally able to see them live! I remember Xiaojun saying that Yangyang is a good listener and I can see that from how he holds/passes the mic for/to the other members and answers last. I think he even forgot to answer a couple of questions (He'd probably say he would be a racer if he wasn't in WayV! I wonder how the other members felt when they first met him...I guess, from what I know, very shy and quiet?) Also, as he said, I think he has gotten more emotionally expressive during and after their hiatus. He looks comfortable when sharing his vulnerabilities these days. 😊

One thing though, WayV gets amazing interviewers, the type who ask actual questions and do some research on the members, the type who freely engage with the members instead of being stiff and awkward. I love that for them cause there's so much more to our idols than doing kids songs and talking about whether they'd want a 5 year old version of a member or 5 copies of said member. Don't get me wrong, those things are cute but they don't need to be done across several interviews for multiple years.
