Hannah has said in one of her videos that when she was first pregnant she was unmarried...so that's one clue. Plus look at Jackson! He doesn't look anything like Matt he even looks like he might be half Hispanic....but... Matt has been in his life since he was probably two years old so...they are father and son anyway he calls him Daddy and they skateboard together...they are a family!

Whenever i see parents struggling with their kids at zhe store because they are throwing a tantrum i just try to distract the kids while the parents try to do their stuff. I have very long purple hair, i basically look like a mermaid, so most kids just look get distracted by my appearance alone 😂 Usually the moms/dads give me that tired "thank you" smile. I don't even like children but they do like me 👍

Its very easy to calm babies actually. I work with young children, most of the time they just need a good snuggle. I just move my hand up and down their back or carry them around while making soft hush in their ear. even if they are hurt it's easy to calm them. carry them around, blow air on where it hurts or kiss it if you know the family well.

Its so annoying when people think parents can actually stop their kids from having a melt down. Yes they can try but they cant always stop it. when they are at that age its impossible to stop it. When they are younger than 2 it's possible but over that they wont stop.

The ‘where do we put the kids’ question is why I’m now a stay at home mom 🤷🏻‍♀️ I loved my job but with my husband and I both working full time for our careers with no family around it just wasn’t viable. When he gets older there’s some daycares around but the cost at that point would be what my salary is so what’s the point?

I have a fulltime job and i really often have the feeling, that i can't be a 100% good mother, a 100% good houswife and a 100% good employee. It's hard sometimes but it is worth it! My mum was a single mum for more than 10 years. My mum is one of my inspiration to me. You are so lucky to have a husband who can help you everyday with anything, whereas my mum has no husband (well she is a widow) that can help pay the bills or shopping. My mum works in a school and tutors and other things. It is absolutely tiering for her. The tiredness is something my mum is like everyday which is something that happens to most single parents. Especially with BREXIT happening in the UK everything gets more and more expensive so it is much harder for my mum now. If there was a charity that helps single mums and dads then that could definitely help tremendously.

I am single mom of a 4 year old we left his dad over two years ago and it's been a struggle ever since we moved to New State I had to start all over again and work my way from the bottom up and to see you break down like that it's real and it frustrating cuz I definitely feel that same way at times where I just want to throw my hands up in the air an just be done or there's also times when everything gets all overwhelming I just have to sit and cry. it's hard to choose between your child or work or to pay for daycare or put groceries on the table but as hard as it may be every time I look into that little boy's eyes I know what I'm fighting for so even though I'm frustrated I'm sad maybe even angry he makes everything worth it I know he thinks I'm his angel but he's really mine because of his love I was able to find the strength to walk away from a not so good situation. I love watching you your amazing I'm definitely have given me some really good idea on how to incorporate things to do with my son thank you

Idk if it's just me and my hormones but i cried as i watched her try to get by. I'm a mom to a 9 month old baby and I'm depended on my family and my husband's family as of now due to some circumstances. I'm usually alone with my child and it's tough. That and my overthinking makes me breakdown a lot. Seeing her really made me feel like I'm not the only one who feels that way when you've been tasked to take care of your kids alone.

One of my closest friends is a single mom. She works so hard all the time and her son is amazing. Her ex is around and takes their son a couple days a week, but my friend is the primary caregiver. And she has to deal with her ex who was emotionally abusive to her for 6 years. And I know there are lots of single parents with much less support than she has. They are all amazing and deserve all the love and support we can give!

I’m a single mom and full time college student. I also maintain a 4.0 GPA. It’s so hard it’s exactly what you showed times 10 😭😭😭 you want to give up sometimes but you can’t because those little people are relying on you and SOLELY you for everything. Ugh I wish things weren’t so tight financially because that is one of the hardest things about where I’m at.

My supervisor at work is a single mom and I sometimes babysit for her. She adopted two kids, both with extreme trauma that has royally messed up their emotional growth. I only charge her about $10/hour, and sometimes I'll just come over for a few hours and help out for free. She deserves it. I've never seen a more hardworking woman.

Jackson trying to console his frazzled mama actually made me cry. That was so sweet and reminded me of heart to heart moments with my single mom. I think people sometimes look down upon single moms like they got themselves into their situation or they are not doing enough (or just aren't enough). It's just not true or right. I appreciate that Hannah took the time to understand the surface of what it's like parenting alone.

Hannah - I literally just scanned videos last night and found videos titled “don’t date single moms”... bc we are broken goods... basically we ruined our lives... granted the guys you can tell are misguided and some even just plain absurd and all, funny enough single🤣... as a single mom I truly appreciate this video... often my friends ask how I do it or keep it together... umm I don’t... I work full time and my house is a hot mess...but it’s the best and my kids and I are a circus of fun...and yes I have help but I also have times where I don’t...my oldest is like this too...she just always hands over the hugs bc some days she just knows...awesome video

There was a lot of times my single mom was struggling, but even as a child I recognized that just being nice to her or listening helped both of us. This is one of those videos that makes you cry even though it's not particularly sad or heartwarming, it's just familiar.

You handled the situation well with your youngest child. My youngest did the same things at that age and it really was so difficult to stay calm. The best thing you can do is exactly what you're doing- giving him an answer and not changing your answer no matter how hard he pushes for it...or cries for it. I’ll be honest I’m saying I normally hate these trying to be a single mom videos, but this one, was spot on. Your budget changes, your time changes, how you split your time changes, we have giant melt downs and sometimes we just need to hide and cry. But, it’s also so special to spend that kind of time with our children. Being a single mom is both the most challenging and most rewarding part of my life and I’m so thankful for my kids. Thank you for making this more real

I’m sure it’s still not as accurate because she KNOWS when she’s going to have a break, she knows when she will be relieved by her husband coming home. But I’m glad her budget changed too.
