I first went to Pattaya in 1982. Beach road and walking street (with the old fishin boats docking right next to the restaurants to fill up with ice blocks slithering along wooden slides), and that was it. The bus from Ekkami to Pattaya through the vilkage roads. Now, I wouldn't live there if you paid me. Its awful.
