Me: "Aw, Betty looked so cute when she was young!" *Go check how old she was in 1974 and realise she was already 52.* Me: "Wow, goddam Betty life was kind with you"
@KairuHakubi2 жыл бұрын
If you were Age, could you bring yourself to afflict her? Naw you'd rarely show up to work on those days. "Sorry, can't make Betty White older this year, I've got a cold." Actually, at the end, she does a certain distinctive thing with her voice and her smile that give her age away. she briefly turns into Shirley Temple, and you realize oh yeah.. she's.. Shirley Temple's age. actually slightly older. And that is how 30s kids learned to smile and giggle I think.

My mom was addicted to this game, would listen to it on the radio while picking us up from school. (NB the local CBS affiliate simulcast on 87.9FM --this was before satellite radio, kids). How old is this particular episode? 1) Watergate was a topical reference, 2) five hundred bucks was a LOT of money, 3) "Penny Lane" was still recent enough that it was not an instant cultural reference, and 4) No Charles Nelson Reilly.
