A historic moment between two legends uncovered! Joan’s voice clear as a bell “You have the most splendid talent” and that crowd’s reaction lasted what felt like forever. It’s so endearing how she refers to Judy as a “child.” They were 16 years apart and Joan saw Judy grow up with MGM. Thank you for sharing this!!❤️❤️❤️

@@retire14pattaya9 Different sources debate Joan’s birth year, but after reading & research, I personally believe she was born in 1906.🥰 Here’s my source www.theconcludingchapterofcrawford.com/debunking_birthyear_1906.html

It is really amazing to hear Joan's memories of seeing Judy at MGM (Dear Mr. Gable). This is like listening in on history.

Buzz, like so many others, I have been a Garland fan most of my life. I too, felt like I "knew" her from her recordings, films, and TV appearances and from the many books. I am certain that Judy would have loved you. Judy would have been deeply touched and flattered by the Garland archives you've created. Judy would have loved the work and dedication you have invested in celebrating her rare performances with her fans. I know I am. I think I can speak for many Judy fans who enjoy and look forward to all your posts. Thanks, Buzz.

I feel Judy was sent down by God to be loved, appreciated, and enjoyed and cherished as other god's gifts to mankind. Strangely, I also feel that maybe God has also sent you down to show and help everyone to see, hear, feel and continuously help the world to discover and enjoy everything that Judy sacrificed for us. It makes sense because you don't do this for greed or selfish pleasure but to continue introducing and showing the world of all what this gifted girl gave the world. I have been searching and haven't found where I can contribute as a patron to you for all your endless hard work and dedication. Is there a place or a number where I can can send my contribution? Everyone keeps writing praise for everything that you continue to do but people need to contribute to help you continue this hard work. I know it's probably very expensive at times and I would like to help you and show my thanks! 🤔😇😳🤗👍♥️

Wow , this is great. Joan Crawford was older than Judy Garland, and Garland was a kid when they first met. There are photos of them together at various times throughout their careers. They are both so captivating and two great legendary stars.

I'm so sorry I couldn't hear the Stars talking. However, I'm so glad Ms. Crawford got that wonderful and well-deserved ovation. I tuned out after the applause.

Joan at her best when she is kind and gracious. She loved Judy and I believe Judy lived near Joan's house on North Bristol Avenue. Helen Hayes lived behind Joan and Shirly Temple lived a block or two west of Joan.; Phyllis Diller lived on South Bristol Avenue, and even later, OJ Simpson lived on a side street just South/West of Joan's former home.
