I love the box but I can't seem to find how I change the size of the icons or font . Seems a little small. Am I missing something?

size of the font is something you can not change.

Nvidia Shield is a good unit too, but you have remember that Buzztv also brings Client support and Buzztv App and updates.

On Buzztv 4 app is impossible but buzztv 5 yes with two different providers at the same time.

Any idea when the next OTA update will be available for the buzz tv 4000 series. Usually updates help fix minor issues and keeps everything up to date. I am wondering why buzz tv has fewer updates then other boxes.

good question, they did not given me any ETA yet, they are working on few different model for OTA updates at the same time.

It is more space one thing, buzztv 5 will be coming to max first before going to lower models like xr/xrs 4500. Also Max is a limited edition and power supply is lower frequency and good for cpu/gup/wifi range/Bluetooth.

I have this box and I have a couple of questions..first how do you create channel playlists? And when it records it does record but the picture image is off..could this be from internet speed? Thanks in advance!

- you get your playlist from your LiveTV provider. - then you check for update for Buzztv 5, or use apps like VLC or MX player to fix the sound for ones you recorded. - it is not your internet speed it is your recording codec and server security.

I bought this device, and still I have a big issue with the sound between the TV set and the buzztv XRS4500, there is like continuous sound and behind sound in both, I don't know how to explain, but I don't know how to fix this issue, is bothering sound bom, bom something like that, if you somebody could help me, please?

- i would try to reboot the box and see if that sound stays, - then i would change HDMI cable to make sure it is not the HDMI. - if these two didn't work go to there website and click on chat and ask question.

One thing that I have discovered with similar boxes is sound quality. When running HDMI to a higher end home theater system, the sound quality is significantly lower than what you would find with a Roku, Amazon Fire, or Nvidia Shield. How do you resolve the sound issues on this box?

can you tell me what app you are using that you are getting lower sound??

@@xctechs Every app. From KZbin to live TV. The sound quality is about 50% lower than it is on other devices.

@@AMike1963 I didn't see any of these issue with buzztv specially on 4500 series or X5, now remember the other names you provide only 5% of them have Dolby Digital chip but again that is just to make sound from 2.0 to 5.1 and not even 7.1. again that will not decrease sound, and you are mentioning Not only LiveTV app but KZbin, that odd, please contact Buzztv support team to check your out your box.

If i play movies from spmc or plex do these boxes have pass through audio ? i would like to know if my 4k movies will play in atmos, dtshd ect from my server and or a hard drive?

this box you can still use those apps like plex and spmc or xbmc and use pass through audio, and get your proper sound out. as much as it goes for Atoms, or DTSHD i do not believe this box has license but it should work.

I have this box, but there is an anoying black out screen every 8 or so minutes as the screen goes black and then back on

that means the handshake between your Box and TV happens and your TV don't remember what you connected. so trouble shoot try these steps. #1 check your settings on box, From main screen Select Settings // Advanced Settings // Display and make sure you turn off auto detection then setup as 1080P 60hz, #2 if still happening change your HDMI wire #3 if still happening try HDMI 2 port or 3 or test on different TV and if you see still happening then contact Support Team for your box.

My box is the xrs4500max that this is happening just got the box this week. Changed the cable and put it on HDMI 2. Trying it as I'm typing this. Thank you for response..
