I think that he could be really fantastic at United, he really knows how to pick out some truly wonderful passes. He's going to benefit from having forwards like Rooney and Chicharito in front of him, as well. I could see Chicharito returning to his 20+ goal form with Kagawa given how lethal the Mexican's ability to get into a good scoring position is.

A lot of people saying hes a flop etc at united, but 90% of foreign players have to spend at least a season to adjust to BPL style of play and despite him lacking a lot when it comes to the physical side of things hes actually played some really nice technical football at times, It's only because hes at one of the bigger teams hes being judged very prematurely before hes even had time to make his mark in the team what with injury and still adjusting in a short amount of games....

I am a huge Kagawa fan. I love the way he directs attacks and his ball distribution ability. However, I think he might be much better off playing on the left as compared to the centre. I watched almost all the games he plays and the conclusion I come to is that his greatest weakness is when he gets tightly marked out of the game. The opposing DM/CB will just bully him off the ball all the ball. Kagawa only flourish in the CAM when either opponents doesnt mark him tightly or its champion league game when the rules are tighter. The advantage when playing on the left is that he gets marked by a far smaller player(RB) and he still gets to drift into the centre. Right now, he is still adapting to that position. However, in time, I believe his interplay with the likes of Rooney and Mata will be beautiful to watch.

Yeah I totally agree. I remember watching him in pre-season and watching him vs Everton and I just remember him finding space and playing amazing passes to the striker (at the time, Rooney) then when he played against Liverpool (the first time he played left midfield) I didn't see as much of him finding space even though he had the freedom to drift in to the centre, however you are right that when he plays through the middle he can get bullied off the ball. I suppose he has strengths and weaknesses to both positions As well, dortmund did build they're starting 11 around him, that might have made him look better. At united I think we should rotate mata and kagawa while playing Rooney and RVP together upfront, in kind of a 4-1-2-1-2 formation

Fair enough Dortmund play a faster paced game than us, but there's no doubt that our play is getting faster with the step up in the midfield of fast paced players such as Cleverley and Anderson in the centre instead of Scholes, Carrick and Fletcher who are less mobile. Young/Nani and Valencia also play fast paced football on the wings, so this faster pace will definitely suit Kagawa more when he has adjusted to the prem and is back from injury.

Anyway, I really think Hazard will be the next superstar, cause the lad is a complete player, can play anywhere, on right, left, AMC, can play with both legs perfectly, has everything he needs to be a top player in future years. The problem with Messi is that he is a striker, forward, and Hazard is an AMC or a winger. So I don't like to compare players on different positions. But even then, Hazard scored 21 goals, and assited 22 times.

CFC fan here...Kagawa to be fair looks awesome, distribution of the ball is what really impresses plus an eye for goal, don't need to go on about the Hazard transfer as Utd in my opinion already have an amazing midfield for next season, Just replace Carrick for someone more affective, Can't wait till next season. likes of City, Utd, CFC, Spurs, Arsenal etc and hopefully Liverpool start finding there way. I'm not just a fan of Chelsea but the premiership as a whole. The more top teams the better

um heres some food for thoughts, in his time at man utd hes had injuries, had to play deeper in a CMr role, had to compete for his spot, been benched most games, in a team who's plays revolve around wing plays and relay on their strikers to get the goals. while at chelsea hazard has never been injured, played in his preferred attacking midfielder role, walked into the starting 11 of a team who's plays revolve around the 3 attacking midfielders who are relied upon getting the goals not strikers

I don't really know why people hate Manchester United as a club. Is it because of our success? I'm a Man Utd fan and I don't hate any other club. When City won the league I just told other City supporters "well deserved". I guess hate comes from jealousy from our success.
