Smh people who don’t have degrees really don’t understand how much value an education has. you want to have specialized skills and be well rounded for the workforce, not just have a couple skills you learned in your basement. Obvi it’s a crowded market so they’re going to pick the people who are more qualified with broader skill sets who have truly put in the work.

Me too. Went to school for audio engineering and ran a recording studio my main was Photography and video 😄 I wish I'd never went to school for audio and said for something else and I've been working my same job for the past 20 years. I would love a new start now.

I think most videographers start the same way. Some of us struggle a little bit more than others. But that's not the issue, don't worry and believe in yourself. But yeah i think many of us can relate with his story haha.

I'm still trying to figure what university course I want to do and I need to pick one lol but ig video editing might be better self learnt than a course unless I want to make movies or something...I also got scared away from them because you have to work with other media stuff and make your own movies and act for them idk sounds extremely cringe and extroverted. Maybe digital marketing or a general business management course would be the best and learn editing on the side myself with online courses.
