Very cool video. My 2 daughters go to Chicago for work and school and they would take the same Metra route from Westmont to Union Stations everyday without the pandemic. Great to see very familiar places in the video. Thanks gor sharing. Armando 👍

Thank you for watching and the kind words Armando. That is sure a neat route to ride. Lots of fun stuff to see. I am jealous of your daughters that they get to ride it so often, LOL. Stay safe and we will see you around the roundhouse.

Anita you did an awesome job on the show , I liked your ZZ Top impersonation .👌👍 It's always cool to see all the sights along the rails . Those Amtrak engines in Union Station were real nice , we don't see them out here on the East Coast . Thanks for taking us along .

How do I purchase ticket from Aurora to Chicago? And is there any bike rack in Aurora Metra Station so I can leave my bicycle?
@GfwTrains3 жыл бұрын
You can get a ticket or on the train. I think they have spots where you can park your bike. Also, I think they also have space on the train where you can bring your bike. Thanks for watching. Sorry for the late reply.

I am a railfan from Barcelona, and is really an interesting video, I just discovering It by casualty, Congratulations. A curiosity: Chicago Union Station is one of last classic terminal stations built in the World, along the Twenties, the other two most interesting of the time are here in Barcelona, Estació de França or France Station in Catalan, and in Italian Milan, Milano-Centrale or Milan-Central in Italian, both with differences but all three monumental and with similarities.

Greetings! Thanks for watching all the way from Spain. One day I would love to travel to Europe and see the wonderful trains and magnificent stations there. It would be really awesome to see and compare Union Station with the stations in Barcelona and Catalan as well as the stations in Milan. It is really cool that you watched and noticed my video. I will now take a closer look at all of those stations you mentioned. I appreciate you watching my video and taking the time to comment.
