Even more than Neeraj Chopra's world dominance, Vishy Anand winning multiple world championships and several olympic golds in hockey. Yes India were considered the underdogs but if you look at that team you have a top 10 singles player, one former world number 1 and recent world championship finalist and a third singles player better than most 3rd ranked opposition players. Add to it a men's doubles team in top 10 who missed out on Olympic QF based on points, it's not entirely out of the blue. They had the quality, only had to fight hard which they did tremendously well. 👏
