I guess that you should've specified in the very first drawing that 25 is the half of X, otherwise seems confusing

Yes I went through the pdf file to test myself and most of my answers were wrong and then I looked into the given part file and realised that and after fixing that, all the answers became correct. I have mentioned on other problems from BW engineering too that specifying all the part dimensions on a drawing is their weak part.

I also agree on that because it's stressful as finding the mistake was impossible if the video was not there which altogether throws your confidence from a cliff when going for an exam.

I have tried completing this several times and each time, when I change the equations to for question 3, I do not get 1131.40. I always get 1129.33 but the answer for question 2 is spot on at 980.48. Am I making a mistake that is typical? Some type of necessary relation maybe?

The model was not made correctly. For the triangle end of height "X", the bottom should be 25mm below the pentagon side. They modelled it to have the middle of the triangle shape to be centered at the bottom of the pentagon shape. It is correct in the first questions because X=50, so the triangle feature is at the same height either way. But when X changes to something other than 50, the height will be slightly off. If you model it so it is centered then it matches the answer.

that 25 is a reference dimension, which means that value should not be dimensioned manually.

There is an error with the drawing, you establish that the bottom face of the piece should always be 25 cm below, not X/2, you should fix the drawing

i get 1129.33 gram. The answer is 1131.40 gram. Got this answer after change to 27.5

In question 2 i get the correct Answer (980.48) but when i change the equations in the Question 3 i get 1138.84 instead of 1131.40. im considering that that 25 is the half of X. can someone pls help me. thanks

There are two 25 in the drawing, the height 25 should be the half of x instead of the triangle one.
