It's the Model 35, which stands for the year 1935. It is similar to the Model 34, the only difference being that it is 32 cal and not 380. It is an excellent weapon.

I use Copper Fit gloves to ward off "hammer bite". They work great when shooting auto hammer striking pistols like 1911s. P-38's, Beretta 1934-35's

Right on love my 1935. Mine was made in 54. If the safety was a little more ergonomic I might consider carrying it with it on

I have a 54 also,found mine at a pawnshop, is pretty much mint,54 musta been a banner year for some reason because i see lot of 54s floating around,finding a extra original mag wasn't easy (or cheap,lol) since they stopped making them (the 35s) in 67, the 34s, hell you can find mags for those just by looking on the ground,i found some on eBay wrapped in original wax paper for like 40 bucks ha ha ha, typical of my luck, i do love this gun, everybody that i show it to, the first thing that comes out of their mouth is "its heavy"

George i did have a question, i have a original holster for mine,i bought it off eBay after i bought the gun,do you know of any modern holster that they sell out there that i could carry mine in? i know its not the ideal concealed carry gun due to the safety and the mag and all that but i would still like to buy something more modern for it, thank you for any input.

@@dntlss ha! i get the same comment about the weight. i do enjoy the full metal construction of the pistol though. recently picked up the 35s little brother, the 418 25.acp. hvent shot it yet but its a true pocket pistol. would be real interested in seeing a modernized version in .22.

I have the 1934 model, it is a great gun, very effective, I hate the magazine release.

I have a 35 but would love a 34,contrary to what most people think that 380 will put you in the ground in a hurry,lol and yes,the mag release is what everyone complains about, i hate it too

You can actually buy original holsters for these made in Italy back in the day specially for the ones made in the 50s,i picked mine up for like 30 bucks and it was brand new or NOS when i got it it even had makers stamps in Italian, the real McCoy but it was supper stiff but after a while of putting the gun in it and the extra mag it just conformed to the gun beautifully,i am wanting to find something more modern to carry it in and if anyone knows of one please let me know,the older holsters are awesome but i dont like looking like a carabiniery carrying this gun, ha ha ha ha

I have this too Is it the serial number or the model?
@InfoNotWars3 жыл бұрын
I'm not real sure what the question is. The model is a 1935 as it is a 32 acp caliber. I believe it was made in 1943 I hope that helps

Just to clarify, 32 ACP is not a smaller 9mm, 32 ACP was created by Browning in 1899, 9mm Para was created by Luger in 1902. At worst, we could think that the 9mm and a 32 increased, although they come from different designers and Luger just increased the calibre of his ammunition from 7.65 Parabellum to 9mm. But to simplify, many, yes there is a certain resemblance between the 25 acp, the 32 acp and the 9 para, see the 45 acp...😉

The Beretta 1934 should be chambered with a 380acp or 9mm short also knows as 9x17 cartrage not the 32 acp but great gun though and nice video

@@InfoNotWars pleasure yes they have some strange names for that type of cartrage they also cal them 9 corto and also a super rare one that you don't hear about alot that's also marked on the Beretta 1934 is 9 skurt that was for Romanian army think they only made 30 thousand of those ones that said skurt on the slides and yes yours must be an old version one of the first because it doesn't have any marking on the slide first time I see one with no markings on your video but it is definitely a beretta 1934 though great collectors item

The 32ACP variant is called the M1935. Also, for clarification, 380ACP in Europe was called 9mm Corto in Italy and 9mm Kurtz (Corto and Kurtz means "short" in Italian and German, respectively) in German speaking countries, or countries that supported Germany in WW2.
@mariomedina38683 жыл бұрын
It is chambered in 380 acp, in fact it is the only ammo it takes.
