I really enjoyed this one as I now live in Cedar. It was so cold that morning that I missed the start but volunteered all day and into breakdown. I liked the move off the bike path and have now done that twice in the last few weeks myself to try it out! I did manage to get video of you sprinting into the chute with several guys chasing! Sorry I didn't let you know sooner, let me know if you want it. side note; I really appreciate the effort to do the chest mounted video, it really helps for perspective. While on my trainer, I watched another popular v-logger and became very motion sick as he mounts to the bars. Kudos to the wife for being so awesome at Support! Cheers!

Joe, awesome stuff. I appreciate you're including the self talk near the end of the race. It's so hard to keep that mindset at the hardest times of races. Relatable. Great result.

Triple.
@jgoettl2.03 күн бұрын
@@danielrussell9416 BWR uses the Flemish spelling “Tripel” to honor the Belgian heritage of the races. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one who tries to correct me on this. But a quick google search would allow you to see this is correct…
@danielrussell94163 күн бұрын
A Begian tripel is a type of beer. "Triple" in flemish is drie. I think Michael Marckx is taking some liberties with the language. Since it's his race, we will allow it. Come back and crush Unbound next year.
@jgoettl2.03 күн бұрын
@ mmm I see, sorry Mr Marckx had told me different but I see the meaning now, sorry I’ve just had so many people try to correct this when it is the correct title for the BWR series. I think next year I will leave that out of the title just to not have to deal with it. Planning on coming back to Unbound again next year!
@danielrussell94163 күн бұрын
It's all good. If I see you at Unbound I will say hi. Best of luck.

Have you considered running a suspension stem?
@jgoettl2.06 ай бұрын
The bigger tires help a lot! I think majority of races full rigid with 45’s will be my setup. Maybe a race or 2 a suspension fork would be cool, but the work and money to swap it back and forth, I don’t believe would be worth it for me.

Haha thanks, I’ve not seen his stuff before, but many of us use an epidemic sound subscription for music so there is probably some overlap 🤔
