Hi! I have another Beauty bay palette with the same shimmer formula and I feel like they work better dry with a very dense brush, with fingers (the best) and over glitter primer. I think if you wet them, they will be even moister than what they are 😅 (I, too, have creases on my eyelid, A LOT)

Very pretty. I would love a tutorial on how you put on darker lip colors like this, in order to get smooth coverage without bleeding past your lips. In particular, these rich, vampy purples and reds give me a lot of problems!

Well I had to click on this immediately! I've just had the same palette delivered (along with the liquid eyeshadows that match it), and I bought the Beauty Bay pastel eyeliners as well out of curiosity. I really appreciate hearing your thoughts on this palette. Every review I've seen other than yours has not mentioned the consistency of the shimmers and the creasing, and I feel like that is important info. Thank you. I am tempted to buy this, but I suspect I would wind up decluttering it because of the shimmers being putty-like, accentuating texture and creasing. I have definitely seen you try some shadows that show texture much worse than those did (at least on application)! It’s unfortunate that they crease because that means I will get the same results ☹️, & the deep green is absolutely gorgeous! Love the look! Don't think I could pull it off, though, as I gravitate more towards a pop of color rather than full on rainbow glam. But your review got me wondering: have you tried the putty shadows again, using a glitter glue underneath? Maybe that'll help with the creasing issue. And if so, that's a work around for anyone eyeing the palette

I've very oily eyelids as well & for me the eyeshadow primer saves the day. On clean lids, either Urban Decays classic or Too Faced shadow insurance. Those two are the only ones that stays forever incl a sweaty gym set after work, for me that is. I like Too Faced's better because it's not as sticky & the UD sometimes feels on my lids, like you know you have something on them.

I think id really like to get their bright mattes palette. I had been going back and forth whether to get it or the one with shimmers but now im leaning toward just mattes. I dont want a shimmer that creases. I already have to make sure I use certain primers so my shadow doesnt crease I dont need something that will no matter what.
