গতবছরের ৫ নভেম্বর আনুষ্ঠানিক যাত্রা শুরু ব্যাট তৈরির প্রতিষ্ঠান এমকেএস স্পোর্টস লিমিটেডের। এর অন্যতম উদ্যোক্তা আফতাব শাহীন। তিনি নিজেও ছিলেন ক্রিকেটার। আগ্রহের জায়গা থেকে ব্যাট মেরামত করতে গিয়ে পরিচিতি পান ব্যাটের ডাক্তার নামে। পরে সেটাই হয়ে পড়ে পেশা। কারখানা প্রতিষ্ঠায় অর্থায়ন করেছেন জাতীয় দলের ক্রিকেটার ইমরুল কায়েস, মেহেদী হাসান মিরাজ ও প্রবাসী আবুল কালাম আজাদ।
MKS Sports Limited, a bat manufacturing company, officially started its journey on November 5 last year. One of its founders is Aftab Shaheen. He himself was a cricketer. He became known as the bat doctor while repairing bats from a place of interest. Later that became a profession. National team cricketer Imrul Kayes, Mehdi Hasan Miraj and expatriate Abul Kalam Azad financed the establishment of the factory.
