Lehigh County native Kathryn Williams faces her past as she shares her life story in this mini-documentary. In it, she recounts a 25-year period of her life as a drug-addicted prostitute that led her down a path of self-destruction and violence. Ultimately facing a reckoning for her choices, Kathryn was sentenced more than once to Muncy State Prison, where, ultimately, she was placed in reentry programming at Williamsport's Transitional Living Centers. Through self-belief, mentorship and mercy, Kathryn made her way out of darkness and into a new life of hope and redemption.

You have brought me to tears today. I completely feel what you've said here. My Judge said to me, You leave me no choice. And he sentenced me. That was 1995 September, that same month my Grandmother passed away, my heart was truly broken for two reasons. I wasnt with her and my family and because she wouldn't get to see the end result because I knew that the street life was not for me. Chennelle is your Angel. I believe we all have at least one through life. It's beautiful the transformation you have made. Stand firm on your faith. Keep pushing. God bless you.

For every recovery, there is always that one person who sees through your pain and wants to see better for you. She had that one person that started her ball bouncing again. It only takes one person to see through their window, hang some new curtains and give a fresh view of options. I too had that one person, my life is so different because she stopped and ' seen ' me. Be strong, lovely lady, you got this ! Much love from Canada. I SEE you

I am a man and you will never know what a Woman secrecy is, unless she shared it with you. I am not from Allentown or that area, but I was incarcerated with a man from that area that's serving a lot of time, for White slavery, which is running a prostitution ring in that area. The man have at least forty something years in prison today . So, there were pimps and prostitutes in Lehigh county area. Things can happen right in front of you, unless you part of that crowd. You're naive to your surroundings.

What a powerful story. We are to follow Christ. He said "Follow" me, not "get ahead of me and if you get lost look back and I'll show you the way." If we follow Him He will lead us in the right direction. Even if we are walking through the shadows of death, He has us. Like so many of us, this woman was being raised by people who weren't following Christ. She was bullied for being dark skinned, which is gorgeous...btw. She was a throw away child. However, God has always and will always love her. Christ saw her heart and led her to TLC. Follow him, everyone. Follow....don't try to lead Him. Just follow and He will get you through...no matter what you're going through.

So what . I grew up in Long Island NY which is the suburbs but my old neighborhood New Cassel Westbury Long Island was off the hook with drugs and criminal activity. Drugs and crime ain't just in the projects bro. I ways heard Allentown was hood. You can't say just because a place doesn't have have projects it ain't hood. Alot of hoods in Cali or suburban settings with nice houses palm trees but utterly dangerous. Long Island NY hoods like Hempstead Roosevelt Wyndance Bellport New Cassel Amityville too name a few hoods in L.I. are suburbs but dangerous hoods if your looking for the fuckerry.

Projects are low income, high crime, drug infested, impoverished area's. Doesn't necessarily have to be a "housing project building" to be considered the projects. Allentown have many areas that are considered the projects/hood.
