What u say has a lot of validly and truth about how beautiful this song is, and my own biased time, place and connection to this song and to Sade herself leans toward saying the same thing. Somewhat. Why? I love music, analyzed music and played music and learned new music all my life since I was very, very young and still till this day, And am 70, a young 70 I must mention😂, and to the point, throughout all these years and time, and all the 100s, or 1000s of great music written and recorded about love throughout, can we logically say that this song is the most beautiful song about love. Maybe at the least tide with several other songs with such with the level of commitment, dedication and emotion too (That you just forgot to mention). And for sure we can assert with no problem that it is beautiful or one of the most beautiful love song ever. But the most beautiful love song? …..to be fair, no! But she is one of my all time favs and I still would do her in a second.😂

Yes my older brother (RIP PAUL LANDIN) .He always introduced me to his music .Of course Sade was one of his "kind of music" .He showed me an interest in all kinds of culture foods . He would take care of me when we were both kids . I miss our brother and sister togetherness.
