However, although his character is more or less the same as before, I liked him a lot more when he appeared to fight Szayelaporro. It was one of those moments where you’re like “Glad he’s on our side”. I can totally see why he’s one of the author’s favorites.

When I first started bleach I was confused why so many authors and people like him, but his fight with szayelaporro helped me understand why, he may not be the strongest captain but he is for sure the most dangerous one, he is in my top 5 captains and I heard that he does some crazy stuff in the manga, I'm sure that once the final arc gets animated he will be in top 3.
