As far as who pays, I would’ve preferred to buy my husband’s band, but I was still in college & he was already out & working as a project manager. So, I think it depends on the couple, budget, & what LEVEL *HE* WANTS!! I would rather help pay & get what I REALLY WANT in a piece of jewelry that I’m keeping FOREVER, so I’m willing to HELP get it if I have to!!😉

My husband's wedding band is two types of gold, rose and white. We had 5 rubies added. His ring matches my ring. Mine has a single large rubie with a double halo. The halo is rose gold, and the band is white. There are two rose gold bands with diamonds which sit on both sides of the ring. Both rings are custom with european shanks. We both payed for his ring with me paying the bulk, only because I wanted too.
