Good start and explained it well in two aspects 1. We'll always better carry the key, no just rely on NFT, what if someone breaks the mirror, 2. The dash cam needs to started manually. I hope it doesn't have roll over recording or FIFO.

Wonder if, not that it would necessarily be needed there is heated seats in the Indian model(probably is they may not have enabled it) but it still would have the heatpump for battery preconditioning prior to fast charging. That range is amazing though probably as it's much warmer as in Australia it has 320-400km depending on conditions real world. Liked your review.

byd has dominated chinese mainland market this year, and their orders has been queued for long enough that they probably will not be interested in north america market given the political tension

byd will not sell the passenger cars in US, because if they do, they will sell extremely well and it will soon become a "national security risk" to the US and sanctions will follow straightaway

Here in Australia there are a couple of problems - warranty is by different items , like USB port and that fancy rotating screen have three year warranty, shock absorbers are also not in line with overall car warranty. No Android auto yet but coming and Apple car play is more of a screen copy than... Regen , apparently is not that great as per some reviews. Doesn't have weather sensing wipers. And that white wavy thing in front will go black in no time in India. I have driven and it drives ok.

Before anyone invests money on Byd electric cars I would ask you to go and look at Serpentza's channel to see the number of fires Byd electric cars have. The QA is totally lacking in this Chinese shit.

@@buntyjha Oh I was waiting for this comment ! 🤣 Guys like you won’t like or believe what I am telling you next -> Where do you think Indian car manufacturers get their battery technology from ? Come out of your dream bubble buddy!!! Read this -> “TATA sources lithium-ion batteries for its cars from Tata AutoComp Systems which has a joint venture with China's Guoxuan Hi-Tech”. Even giants like Toyota and TESLA are queuing up for “blade” battery technology from BYD !

An extremely detailed review of the Atto3. Very well put together too. One would prefer this any day over a half hearted 'exclusive' drives some competitors do. Coming back to the car, while the interior is 'interesting' and 'quirky', the design will probably not age well (my personal opinion) and given the temperatures in our country, those guitar strings thingy that hold the stuff in place will probably expand and become useless over 2 years or so. The dashcam SHOULD have had auto and loop recording features at least as an option in the menu. Its a nuisance to do it manually everytime and then dowload/format everytime the memory is full. That is a horrible oversight IMO. Any idea how good the headlamps are? I personally dislike LED headlamps but those are the only ones you get now. The fact that its a Chinese brand (though an established one) will deter a lot of people from investing in one and then there is the pricing, when its closer to 40L, it makes you wonder if it worth all that money. The doubt becomes even more apartment when you consider that everything is done in house and they even have stake in the mines which means it could have been priced more competitively. Personally I don't have anything against the brand or its origins. Its not like they are smuggling the cars in. Govt makes good profit on CBUs and the whole anti china thing is an pseudo facade put up. Either ways, I personally don't think the vehicle is worth approx 35L 9exshowroom that the company is quoting, it should have been 28-30L instead.

Regen breaking cmes from pedal braking. Chinese cars dont have one pedal driving with the type of regen braking you are talking about like tesla. If you pay attention to the consumption while braking, it goes into negative

+ L2 Autonomous driving, safer battery, larger dimensions, much better cameras, better motors/engines. Price is justified IMO.

to pricy for a new brand charging speed of ano 2010, 88kw is way to slow and charging curve is bad aswell. competition for the aiways U5 thats nothing to right home about

This car starts at less than 16l in China . Indian brand tata is offering Nexon ev max at 20l . We are being looted in India.

We don't allow Tesla come here because they asked for something - a little concession to test the waters - but Tesla is open and transparent about their intentions; and we have no issues with a Chinese manufacturer even though we have no idea about their real goals! If we get taken in, then we have no one to blame!

do Indian companies even have any battery tech to run cars post 2030's? All lithium is being sourced/processed by China. They control majority of cobalt needed for batteries. Even they control the entire IP and value chain for next-gen NA-Ion batteries. IF you talk about battery industry today, the 2 top dogs are BYD and CATL. Both Chinese. So, on what basis will India play the hard game against China?

@@purplemist2779 china has refinery of Li ion , and no they don't hold ip for na-ion , till few years back we didn't had any capacity to build tbm but now we built it, we didn't had capabilities to built rail tracks but now it's there because unlike you low esteemed people there many hard working PPL who can work and bring dreams to reality instead of whining

I think it has way too many buttons on the center console, half of them are on the steering wheel, and ALL of them are in the pad. Very redundant

Relying on regenerative breaking to slow the car down is lazy and just plain stupid. I hate how all these cars and their "safety features" do things that I know how to do already. I have eyes and a neck, I know how to look and when I have departed a lane etc. It disengages drivers who can drive and tries to drive for idiots.
